I am very happy with my purchases from Skandinavia. I bought furniture for my living room and one guest bedroom. I love the Stressless sofa and chair with matching ottomans. I have hip and back pain so it’s helpful to have comfortable places to sit. Also, I bought the tv stand (BDI) and side table and Aaron chair. For the bedroom, I bought a sleeper sofa (American leather) and a lovely desk with matching chair. Thanks to Maria for helping me. This is a wonderful store with fantastic furniture.

Amanda Godwin was a tremendous help and resource! She guided us through the selection of seat cover materials, clearly explained the fabrication process and when we could receive the dining room chairs we ordered. She checked back with us periodically and ensured that delivery was flawless. What great service!! Skandinavia Contemporary Interiors is our first stop for any furniture needs. We live in Houston but will gladly drive to Austin when the need arises.

We have been buying our furniture from Skandinavia for decades and it shows. Their pieces are classic in design and of such high quality that they last through generations of use. We are thrilled. We have in the last three weeks spent more time in our front room than we ever had in the 11 years we’ve lived in this house. It is like the house is 20% bigger, or more usable. We probably spend almost as much time per day in this room, now, than our bedroom (well, on weekends anyway). It is comfortable where ever you sit or stand, lovely to look at and pleasing to the eyes.
We’ve noticed the evening setting sun brings in a wonderful light. It has always been there, but we never wanted to sit in the room long enough to notice the movement of light. The carpet DOES pull together
