Seattle's Maple Leaf Locksmith LLC (location) is a mobile service owned and operated by me, Bjorn Madsen. I have been certified by the NWLA as a professional locksmith. I have no employees so when you hire Maple Leaf Locksmith LLC you get me and only me and if I can't do it I will recommend those who I know can.
I stock Protec2 locks and cylinders. I can also rekey existing protec2 locks. They are a good choice for the most demanding high security applications for all of the reasons that other high security locks are, but additionally there are ball bearings in the key and lock that interact with each other, meaning that in this new world of 3d printing these locks offer a much harder to copy key.
I stock CX5 locks and cylinders, a good choice if you need a high security restricted keyway. If you need a high quality deadbolt for less money or want to upgrade the cylinder in your Schlage deadbolt for a low price this is a great option. CX5 cylinders come in many different options. You can even retrofit Emtek locks with a CX5 cylinder.
I stock Marks Survivor Series commercial levers in different finishes. If you need a oil rubbed bronze lever that can take some abuse, I can probably install one for you the same day you call. I stock SFIC levers along with conventional levers in storeroom and entry function. Some of the Marks locks are manufactured in the USA.
Less susceptible to physical attacks like glue or foreign materials being jammed into the keyway. If somebody loses a fob you can remove it immediately at no cost. Contrast this with somebody losing a key to your property - you may have to rekey all exterior doors!. All of these commercial electronic locks have the ability for scheduling - you can set them up to automatically lock or unlock at certain times of day or certain days.

We had an emergency where we realized that someone had stolen a key to our house and we needed the locks rekeyed immediately. We were recommended to a different locksmith, who said their first opening was 10 days later - even when I told them it was a bit of an emergency, and they advertised 24/7 emergency service. I finally remembered that Maple Leaf Locksmith had been so helpful with our rental property, that I called him and he was out and the lock was changed within hours. He also gave great suggestions to update the lock, and explained how to do it cost-effectively. Highly recommend Maple

I wish I could add another star! I feel so fortunate that I reached out to Bjorn! They are located very close to us and I reached out the day after Christmas on a Sunday. He got back to me within minutes! Our shed lock was frozen and the key broke off in the lock. Ugh. We expected to be out a few hundred dollars to fix this. Bjorn asked me to send a picture and then said he could tell us how to get the key out ourselves! And he did! I cannot recommend him enough. He is honest and so helpful. While I don't hope that we have another lock issue, I would not call anyone else but Maple Leaf locksmith

This man is, no joke, the best in the business. We have a business in Wallingford that the contractors did a terrible job installing the knobs/keys/everything to all of our private room doors. One was so bad that we had to drill it out to access a room!
Bjorn has come to the rescue several times now. Today he leaves us with a new lock/keypad and re-coded door locks PLUS helped us to fix a door that was jammed shut due to a recent break in.

Unfortunately we got back from a trip and was locked out of the house (miscommunication with the parents who were watching the house) Thankfully Bjork was available and got to us within 15-20 min. Our door lock was being very difficult and couldn't be picked after multiple attempts so Bjork recommended drilling through the lock. He was able to get this difficult job done with much patience and efficiency and we are so grateful for his help! He even honored his original quote despite the extra time that was not anticipated. After a few bad experiences with a key duplicating service that uses special automated kiosks (*cough, cough* KeyMe *cough, cough*), I did some Googling and found Maple Leaf Locksmith LLC. Locally owned and operated by Bjørn Madsen, I called Bjørn to see if he could duplicate my car key with a transponder chip. He said he could and was able to see me the same evening. Since he doesn't have a storefront, I met close to what I assumed was his home. He came over to where I was parked, I handed him my key and he left to get my key cut while I waited by my car.
