I bought fencing from here in 2006. Which included black posts and black coated chain length. My Dad and I installed it. It has held up really well. Due to normal wear I recently needed to do some touch up with spray paint. So I went to K and K and asked if they sell black touch up paint. They said no, but did suggest Black Satin Krylon spray paint. So I bought some and applyed it. It looks like a much newer fence now.
The suggested spray paint is what originally brought me to make this post. But I did also want to mention how well the fence has held up. Most of the touch up paint was applyed

The Sales staff, Project Manager, Foreman, and Crew from K&K could not have possibly done a better job completing a time sensitive security gate reconstruction project. Communication and organization are both second to none and I'll add they were very flexible adapting to changes requested during the project. I would highly recommend K&K to anybody looking for residential or commercial fencing or security gates.

I've had 2 fences installed by K&K. Both were cedar with pressure treated posts. The 400'+ of privacy fence they installed in 2011 still looks and works great. However the picket fence they installed in 2017 is falling apart. The cedar they used is absolute junk. The boards are very rough and extremely soft. It's almost like balsa wood. Several spots have chipped and broken. Some of the stringers/panels are starting to detach due to poor nailing.

This company is straight up garbage. They messed up my back fence, so it won't open all the way. It's taken arguments to get them to even admit that the repair falls under the warranty, and even longer for them to come fix it. It's been 3 full months and I haven't heard a peep.
Please avoid dealing with K&K at all costs. I don't care who recommended them to you.

A guy from the company came out to give estimates on fencing 10 days ago (a Friday). He said he might be able to have estimates to me later that day, or the following Monday at the latest. As you might have guessed Monday came and went without estimates. I called on Tuesday. I was told that someone would call me back. I called Thursday and was told that Jason would call me back. I called Friday (a week after the visit) and was told that someone would call me back.
It appears that K & K Fence is unable to keep it's (multiple) commitments. I don't think I could trust them to install

Worst experience ever. Not only did they take 4 extra months to get the project done, but they had no ability to communicate. Now, after trying to move on, we are finding loose nails all in our yard they somehow thought it was appropriate to leave behind. Endangered our dogs and our lawn equipment. For the love of god don’t put yourself through it and hire them.

Had a great experience with K and K fence. Starting with a quick turn around from the sales department, to the quote, to the call from operations and scheduling team. Every question I had was answered and the fence looked absolutely fantastic when completed. The workers had everything cleaned up and hauled off! Great experience.

I had K&K install a fence several years ago and went to them to get a new gate to match what I have. Was told they only do installs and to find a handyman for my request. Really? Great customer service.I will have another company replace my entire fence if I can't get a match. Lost my business and any future business. From this neighborhood.

Called their office to see if I could get a general quote. Didn't care if we had to schedule a time for them to come out or if I could just get a basic linear foot price. The man that answered said "We don't give quotes over the phone" and hung up on me. Sadly, I work in residential construction and refer them often to homeowners. Never again will I refer and I will be sure to spare homeowners I work with such rude customer service.

We had the fence put up by two guys that work for K & K fencing their name is John Schilling and Michael, they did do this as a side job so that's on us but they did wear their K & K shirts and hoodies when they came over to do the work, they got all the material from K & K and talked about working at K & K all the time so to me this is a reflection on K & K in the work that gets done by these two. When they were here at the house they would talk about different jobs that they do on the side and the complaints that other people made this was before they finished our fence

We gave very specific instructions as to how we wanted our fence cut. They did exactly what we wanted. They noticed we have dogs and were very kind to cut the fence low---everything was perfect and clean cut. There was a lot of trimming to be done to trees, bushes, etc. in order to build the fence---they did so and cleaned everything up---also hauled off the old fence. Left everything looking pristine. The guy walked us around making sure we were happy with the job done--of course we were. Expressed that they know we have a lot of options in who we go to, so they make a huge effort to be the best

The field crews were nice and polite while on the job.
The lady in the office who takes the calls is bothered when talking to you & seemed to have a rude undertone at every call..?? Not a pleasant thing...
For a quality company, the fence was built to a less quality, fewer cross supports & thinner pickets than should have been used. this will show up as premature problems down the road and the fence will not last as long. :( I have personally done fencing in the past & this was a big unexpected surprise, as I did not expect for K&K Fence to cut corners to increase margins. The

Would not use this company again. Was really happy upon first walk through thinking that the sales individual understood my need for a secure fence with no gaps along ground and tight gate openings since I have a small dog. Then the installers came out. Well the gate posts were set way to far apart and I was told they could not be redone and I'd just have to deal with the gaps. I had to have the actual fence lowered 3 times! And there are still 1-2 in gaps in places between the fence and ground. The chain link itself is loose to the point you think someone may fall through if they lean

They called me two days prior to a scheduled visit to get me a price and asked for the appointment to be moved to later in the day. I told them I could not move the time because of my work schedule, and they said that would be fine. Then, they called me the morning of and cancelled on me, saying one more week out would be the next possible time/date for a visit, pushing the 4-week installation window out to 5. Thanks for wasting another week of my time, K&K.

Great personal service from the actual fencing construction crew, but awful service when it comes down to phone/customer serivce staff. I get put on hold before I even get a sentence out of my mouth and am dealt with rather rudely when it comes to my questions. However, the person who actually came out to do my estimate was so nice that it far overshadows and problems they have with their phone staff -though it would be nice to have that improved as well. I will update my review as we get our fence installed!
