We bought a barely three year old Artisan home. We’ve had two roof leaks, the paper work states a local roofing company did the work but when I called them they stated they didn’t do my roof. A prior employee told me that Artisan formed an LLC for a roofing company, did the work (not up to industry standards per the roof repair man) and lied that the other company did the work.
What do you know, their roof company is no longer in business. The attorney I’m consulting with stated they form these companies, do the job (poorly) then “go out of business” to protect themselves.

This review pertains to the Enclave in Fernandina. The worst experience building a home, and we’ve built a few. Horrible communication from the get go coming from the sales team, unreturned calls, emails, nearly impossible to get a hold of. When we finally signed a contract to build and started working on modifying the plans, they fired the person in charge of that (which ironically up to that point was the only one who timely returned calls, emails and actually followed through with things). They did not tell us of her firing and took our unfinished plans and gave them to the building superintendent

You should be embarrassed about how incredibly SLOW you are progressing with building the home on Long Boat Drive in Fernandina.
Update 8/30/2019
Artisan continues to be a blight in our neighborhood, it has been a year now since they began building a home in my neighborhood. They appear to be overwhelmed with too many projects.
Currently there is a portable toilet on its side further taking away from a normally beautiful neighborhood.
Would enjoy the opportunity to change my mind.
