TL;DR: Our reservation was cancelled less than 12 hours before the move date/time via TEXT message, with no offer to reschedule or accommodate in any way. I do not recommend anyone use this awful company. It left us with no movers and a really big fee for not having our belongings moved out in time.

Sub level satisfied with these movers. Originally scheduled for a Wednesday but got a call on Sunday evening if I could reschedule for a day later. At first I was disappointed, but at least I get an extra day to pack.
Movers showed up about 10 min to late, I had to message Claire to confirm again if movers were on their way. 2 guys showed up, the way they parked their big truck was questionable since it would block my neighbors' cars. Called then a few times got all different quotes. The lady wanted me to text her details the text were never received, I would call her and she wouldn't answer. Called from another number and she answered.
Finally agreed set a date and time, the night before I became VERY sick and called/texted and canceled with covid didn't want to take any chances.
No one ever confirmed the cancellation and someone showed up to my home to move. I advised them that I canceled and they were no longer needed.

The temporary car of the moving company previously ordered broke down, so I tried to find a few companies and it didn't work. When I called Express Moving 4U to inform me of my situation, the boss said that you finally took a leave of absence to move. I will solve it for you. I used express movers today from West San Jose to Fremont. The movers came well on time & were using full safety protocol. Moved the stuff in a professional manner. I was very impressed by the prompt response of Claire. She confirmed about the service within minutes. Through out the process we were well informed e.g. one day before reminder , the moment driver started etc. Overall, very professional company. I will highly recommend them. Thank you!!

I had to move a dining room set from San Jose to Milpitas. I called Claire and send her pictures. She called back immediately and worked through the logistics and explained how they work and the timings etc. she worked around my schedule patiently.
She send me a confirmation and the timings the day before.
I Was impressed that Claire called me ahead of her team arriving to make sure I was around.

Never mind I no longer want you guys to move us. Very unprofessional, poor response time, and you failed to ever confirm or deny service..I'll be sure to leave a review on Yelp. It's unfortunate that the good things others had to say about you I never saw..You really need to be more sensitive to your customers especially when moving as it's already a nerving process to begin with..POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Near the top of the list was Express Moving 4-U. As always, I'm surprised at the extremes of lavish praise and equally lavish dislike in the reviews.
I filled out the form on Yelp and almost instantly got back a Yelp message to call their number. While I was initially a little put off that my Yelp quote request wasn't read, Claire quickly understood what I needed and quoted me a very fair price -for

I absolutely loved my experience. Two men crew handled my heavy and some bulky furniture amazingly. They didn't waste one minute and they wrapped every piece that needed care including mattresses and bed frames. They put together the furniture that needed assembly. I gave them a little over 20% tip and they seemed very appreciative. In some reviews I read before, customers complained that the movers weren't happy with the tips. I think for the work they put in for 3-4 hours a 20-30% tip is very reasonable.

Very easy to schedule and work with. 3 people came to move and worked pretty quickly. They were able to accommodate requests and moved things relatively carefully.
I took off one star because after tipping 23% (recommended 20-30%), the workers looked upset and asked for more. I bumped it up some more but it was disappointing that they asked for more even though I was in the recommended range.

When they arrived we asked them are you from the contacted company there response was " can you not see it on the truck & what is written on it ", wow what a way to begin our experience!!
Next question that popped up, "you had one week of packing time , what were you doing ( ok have two infants -!) what a audacity to pose such questions !!
The above two questions should have given us the clues of how our next hour or so will be shaped!!!
Providing even a single star is not worth for such an unprofessional moving company!!! . This is very unprofessional for the movers to act

The tv stand / dresser is the same thing. It was one item that was damaged that i did tell you about. The check you claimed you sent. You never did. It's been months now and no check was ever received and i have proof of text messages that i sent you and phone calls that i dialed and no response from you what so ever. The elevator was literally not in use by anyone else but us, so the fact that you are lying on a public forum is ridiculous. There was no need to pre arrange anything with my leasing office when the truck was placed right in front of the building where it's meant for moving
