Tonda Sales was founded in 1989 by Russ Tonda following a 25 year career in both wholesale and retail sales of flooring. Our original location at 5815 Power Inn Road, Sacramento, is managed by Scott Tonda, and focuses on sales and installation of commercial flooring. Our newest location, which focuses on both residential and commercial flooring, opened in 2010, at 4409 Granite Drive, in Rocklin.

Services
In addition to being a retail and wholesale flooring sales store, Tonda Sales is also a licensed, bonded and insured flooring contractor, and can provide installation services for all products we sell, including tear out and disposal of existing floor coverings and removal and reinstallation of wall base moldings and any trims needed to complete your job.
Commercial flooring is the specialty of our location at 5815 Power Inn Road, in Sacramento, (916) 387-8700. We provide Broadloom, Carpet Tile, LVT, VCT, linoleum, Ceramic or natural stone, from dozens of manufacturers. Our large format printer and commercial flooring gallery allows you to select materials and get a quote based on your scale plans.
When your flooring arrives, before it gets installed, inspect it. Your installer does not know if the carpet, wood, laminate or vinyl is what you ordered. If it doesn't look right, call us to confirm that it IS right before it is installed. Many manufacturers won't pay the labor cost to take out the wrong material if you let it be installed.

I am new to the Roseville area and though experienced with remodeling in the Bay Area I now needed to have carpets removed and floors installed in the Roseville Bungalow I recently purchased, I needed advice on flooring materials and though I had hoped I could match the existing hardwood laminate that pre-existed, I had lost hope of that happening. I had several bids with excellent companies looking to remove all flooring with replacement but when Russ Tonda appeared, his furrowed brow, and thinking expression with a comment that "these floors are beautiful", and later while measuring

Unprofessional ~ See All Pictures!
It took almost a MONTH to complete a 685 sq ft space and cost $5,781.18 for an incomplete job!
The owner, Russ is a smooth talker and will make everything sound wonderful, when it isn't his temper flares and he is rude.. He refuses to listen to customers concerns.
We have security cameras; Russ left our home on 6-22-2020 after we asked him to come look at and address our concerns with the job, as usual Russ would NOT listen, he just argued with us and said the job was beautiful! As he left with his installer our security cameras caught Russ making

Absolutely the worst customer service imaginable. MaryAnn, the receptionist, wouldn't know a scruple if she ran over one. We were lied to again and again: Oh, Russ hasn't given me the numbers for your job. And he was standing 12 feet away from me and I said, "Well, he's standing right there, why not ask him now?" The response? Oh, he's having problems with a shipment and can't be bothered. Then we were promised that the job would begin in one week (it was the following Monday). Now, 10 days later, "...Russ still hasn't given me the numbers..

Came to Tonda for their "low price" carpet. We met with the owner Russ and he seemed friendly AT FIRST, We were deciding between two diff carpets and he gave us a price for each which was NOT the same for both. We picked one at $15 a yard, paid for it but before they cut it, we decided for the one quoted $12 a yd. He got angry, told us to come back next day for it and when asked about the price diff he denied the $12 a yd and said they were both the same price. We got a full refund and left. NEVER WILL GO BACK! I went there 3 tomes and i live 1 hr away. Ftp

Super nice people with decent prices, but that's where it ends. After going to the showroom and looking at flooring, we had Russ out to give us an estimate for our entire house, so not a small job. After several weeks and even going back to the showroom to inquire about it, we never received an estimate. We were told that sometimes he just gets too busy. Hmmm.
We did end up buying the material there, but even that had its difficulties. They were only willing to give a 5% contractor discount and apparently a forklift driver is not always available to load the product so I guess you need

We were referred to the Rocklin store by the Sacramento store. We found a substitute hardwood product and then arranged for an estimate of the repair. A few days before the scheduled appointment, Russ, the owner, called to cancel and reschedule the appointment. I called a few days later to confirm the new appointment but was unable to get a confirmation. I made a number of follow up calls, but was unable to secure the appointment. I wrote an email asking if Tonda planned to follow up and if not to let us know they were not interested. I never got a response. This mistreatment left us disappointed

We had hardwood floors installed in our home from Tonda Sales. The sales people were helpful, Russ, the owner was involved from the beginning until the end of the job to insure a job well done in a short time frame. We feel we got a good deal, and we love our floors.
Thanks go out to Travis who worked long hours to remove our old gross carpet and did a beautiful job installing our wood floors and baseboards (in a timely manner and actually cleaned up everyday). Good job!
