For Rich Cavanagh, owner of Advanced Comfort Systems, heating and cooling aren't merely a vocation, but a mission, a passion. He is genuinely excited by emerging technologies and green initiatives and how they can be put to use to make your heating and cooling systems more effective and more efficient.
Ductless air conditioners are also known as mini-split air conditioners since they work in similar fashion to ducted central air conditioners, but on smaller scale. Ductless air conditioning systems have gained popularity in recent years for their ease of installation when compared to central air conditioning, and their quiet and effective operation in both homes and offices.
This is probably the type of heating system in your home or office today, and it was a viable method of providing heat for decades. With this system your boiler is either on or off; running at full capacity until the thermostat temperature is met or exceeded then shutting off until it is needed again.
A radiant heat system is not actually a heating system, but rather a means of delivering and distributing heat. Piping or tubing is placed under a floor and hot water is circulated through it. Delivering heat via this method, rather than baseboard radiators for instance, allows you to provide comparable heat with lower water temperatures, thereby saving fuel.
When you come across an excellent contractor, it's something that really should be shared so that others can take advantage. This is the case with Advanced Comfort Systems. I'm a real estate agent, and I was in a pinch on a transaction. A listing of mine had suffered a damaged heating system, which needed to be corrected in very short order (we were in contract).

We recently had 7 Fujitsu units installed in our house by Advanced Comfort Systems. The owner, Rich Cavanagh, came to my house and completed an energy needs assessment. He measured each room and window sizes and made a plan to put in the correct size units in the house. I was concerned that the units would be obtrusive, loud, and clunky. He assured me that would not be the case. We went with this company because his advanced training doubled our warranty with Fujitsu.
We scheduled an install date and then he called and asked if we wanted to get it done earlier. In a few days the system was installed

I'm extremely happy with my units. Rich is truly a top installer for these Fujitsu mini splits. As a certified installer, he's an expert at what he does. He has great business ethics by showing up on time, performing the work in a timely fashion and all at an affordable rate which is carefully estimated beforehand. His team is dedicated and professional. Thanks Rich. Great work!!

This man does not do what he says he will do. I tried to give no stars, but couldn't.
I was told by Richard Cavanagh by telephone on 8/22/16 that his business could "come by to service our Fujitsu units next year and to call them with any problems." I called him in Sept 2017 with a problem & sent him the part number he requested. He said he would order the part, then set up a time to replace the bearings in the fan. In Oct 2017 when I texted if he had gotten the part yet, he responded that he'd been overwhelmed and was hiring someone in Nov & asked if I could wait till then. On Dec 20 he apologized
