I worked with Mike Solmonson at the Brandon location and my experience from start to finish was top notch! Mike educated us on the different flooring types, took the time to come to our house to evaluate some existing floor leveling challenges. He recommended Rylan to handle our flooring install and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Of all the house projects I have tackled over the years, my experience with Mike and G. We worked Mike@ the Brandon location. We were having around 2400 sq ft of luxury vinyl planks installed. Mike measured the area and his estimate of flooring needs was spot on as the last of 100 boxes of flooring was used.
This was a full week job and the installation team was outstanding. We couldn’t be happier with the workmanship and thus the finished job. From start to finish, a wonderful experience!

My experience with G.Fried was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The selection was huge and very well organized. Mike, our salesman, was extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. We had such a great experience with this company! Our salesperson Jacci in Sarasota was so helpful, finding just the right carpet for us and sharing the details of how the carpet would be laid (we are picky!). Many carpets to choose from but Jacci steered us to the best products for our needs. And the installation guys were great - from Mark the scheduler who prepared us for the install to Chris and Robbie who did a perfect installation.

My wife and I stopped here one day because we were interested in replacing a rug in our loft with tile flooring.
We wanted to match the tile from our bedroom to the loft, but it was discontinued. Then, we wanted to incorporate a bit of the leftover tile to the loft. After a lot of back and forth, it did not happen.
That said, it was hard to nail down a price. After a bit of back and forth with Kevin, the manager, it finally got done.
We would ask questions and either get ignored it talked down to. He was quite condescending and rude throughout the process.

Alan Schneider was my sales representative from the Brandon location 231 Town Center Dr. I was remodeling my home and after it was painted I asked Alan if he would mind coming to my home were I could actually see the flooring I had previously chosen and carpet in BIGGER Samples!! The installer was extremely rude, didn't care at all about our timeline. When we tried to address concerns with Kevin at Brandon office he was inconsiderate and unprofessional. Installer did not clean grout and mastic off of tile and we now have stains and spots all over flooring that will not come up. We asked Kevin to help and address the concern and we were basically told "too bad so sad". He refused to answer calls and after spending a significant amount of money on new floors, I now have to put area rugs all over to hide the blemishes and stains. I would never ever use them

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. My husband and I bought ceramic wood tiles from G. Fried Flooring last year for our living room. We were told they use the "Top of the Line" contractors (THE VERY BEST). When our tile was installed it was uneven across the entire room and the grout was missing in some areas. We went back and forth with the store and contractors who said they would fix it. The contractors never fixed the floor and it is still uneven. Needless to say, we refused to pay the remaining balance until the floor was fix but instead G.Fried flooring decided

We needed to replace the tiles on our screened lanai because they were buckling. Kevin Lamb came out to the house to take measurements and provided an estimate. Unfortunately, we had to delay the installation because we also needed to have tree work done. Several months later I called Kevin. Not only did he remember our situation, but he still had our information on file. Regardless, he came back out to the house to verify that his measurements were accurate and we scheduled the install. I'm coming up on two years since our floor was installed because I wanted to live with it for a while before doing the review. Kevin Lamb was the sales person and he was very helpful and let us live with the samples for a couple weeks. I suggest doing this because it's a large expense and you want to make sure it's the right choice. We ended up choosing the COREtec Plus Norwegian Maple because of the durability, 100% water proof (important if going in the kitchen or Florida in general) and of course the look.

Bought carpet from the Brandon location years ago. They did an excellent job with installation then but over the years we have noticed areas that needed stretching. Within a few days of calling, the guys came and stretched all areas (free of charge since it is part of the warranty). They were in and out within a short amount of time and the work is perfect! We would highly recommend this company to others who are looking for quality carpet and service at a reasonable price.

We have had hardwood flooring installed by other companies and individuals in Florida and other states but none compared to the excellent experience we received from G Fried. From our showroom visit with Keith to the pre visit to the awesome installation by Ricardo and Michael. We are so proud of our new floor; and it is beautiful. Everything was on schedule and the price was very reasonable. Don't be fooled if another company or individual gives a lower quote, this company is professional. Check out the customer satisfaction. I had a great experience w G Fried months ago. (My neighbor getting their floor done now by another contractor, not going well, so I wanted to get the positive word out re G Fried). G Fried isnt the rock bottom cheapest upfront, but they work with you to meet your budget and they stand by their product for a long time to come it pays off on the back end! G Fried installed almost 3,000 sq ft hardwood for original homeowner. It still looks great 15 years later. Then I had G Fried finish out the bedrooms when I moved in. Job done perfectly on schedule.
