If a tree needs to be removed, The Bonilla Tree Service Inc. team of professionals will carefully remove the tree. Tree removal may sound like a simple job, but you have to know how to remove a tree without damaging surrounding structures and trees. We do a clean up of all the debris after the removal.
Trimming your trees will keep them clean up and give your property much better curb appeal. From bad limbs to leafs, we can help you bring back the beauty of your tree with simple trimming. Reduction of the height and/or spread of the tree by pruning back leaders to lateral branches. This treatment prevents the tree or limbs from falling during rain or snow storms.
Bonilla Tree Service crew will carefully prune your tree. Our truck allows us to remove even the highest branches safely. After the work is done we will clean up, remove, and dispose of all debris utilizing our chipper shredder machine. Trees should be inspected regularly. Juan and his team are fantastic and they came recommended. It really looks like someone just pressed "delete" on the trees (2 large trees, 1 medium tree without limbs, 1 small tree, 1 xs tree, and 6 stumps) . When you watch them go to work you realize just what a well oiled machine they are and just how skilled they are. One tree in particular was very concerning, the trunk was less than a foot away from my roof and all the branches were right on top. Highly recommend! Staff are respectful, timely, and knowledgeable. For a reasonable fee they removed a large, old oak tree surrounded by plantings and very close to the house. There was no space for a crane. Everything was handled manually. They worked hard and did a fantastic job. Their clean up left the grounds better than when they arrived.

We had a large tree split down the middle during a storm. We called three companies for estimates, and Bonilla Tree Service was the best combination of customer service (Karen was SO NICE on the phone), timing (they came out that day to complete the tree removal), and price (they were competitive with another company that initially said they couldn't schedule us for several weeks). The crew did a great job removing the tree without damaging our home, lawn, or landscaping. The clean-up was beyond what we expected. We'd recommend them, without hesitation, if you're in Northern VA!

A bit of a story for you. Last Thursday I went directly from work to go out shopping and have some dinner. Then, as I was driving down my street, by now around 10 PM, I noticed a man walking toward me waving his arms. Soon I found out why. A tree had fallen across the street and was blocking any vehicular progress. We contacted Bonilla Tree service because of their ratings in Checkbook Magazine and Google. Efrain came out and gave us an estimate for fall tree trimming. The estimate was very reasonable and we had the work completed in November 2020. Julio and his crew were amazing. They were very polite, respectful, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. These guys came in and transformed my backyard in one day. They gave me a fair price to remove three (exotic/invasive) Mulberry trees and one of the leaning twins of my English Walnut tree. All trees were mature. I asked them to leave half the walnut wood so I could split it for firewood. When I came back from work everything was all done, the yard was left in as good a condition as can be expected, the stumps grinding looked great, and they split and stacked the walnut wood!

I've used Bonilla Tree Service twice now, and I will not use anyone else in the future. Once to drop a large dead tree, and again to elevate 3 trees looming dangerously over our roof and to install a Cobra cable between two giant twin oaks. This family business is professional, dependable, safe, resonably priced, and highly skilled. I requested a quote. I gave them my address, but we made no plans to meet. The next day, some random person comes to my house and opens up my mail slot. It was Bonilla Tree Service leaving their business card after creeping around my property uninvited. That should have been the first sign. Luckily, I was there, so I was able to show them the tree and my property. They quoted me a price for tree removal. They spent a month unprofessionally refusing to nail down a date for the service. We used Bonilla Tree Service to remove a large tree in our front yard and grind the stump. They also trimmed two other trees beautifully. Juan gave us an estimate which we found very competitive. The crew worked very well together - obviously they know what they're doing. They even saved a baby squirrel that had fallen out of the nest of the tree that was cut down. They found the nest and put it back in so mama would have all her babies when she returned - which she did a few hours later. We plan to have them come back to trim another tree. We highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic. Bonilla came highly recommended by several of my neighbors and was significantly more affordable than other companies we contacted. The workers were polite, showed up on time, and cleaned everything well. The company also stuck with the estimate they provided. After getting 3 estimates for tree work I really wanted to let people know about the Bonilla family and their tree service. They are arborists so have had training in what to do for trees and I needed an opinion on how to get some sunlight on our deck since we have lots of trees in the backyard and I didn't want to take any out.
