We took a rug that had been in storage to Able Carpet with very low expectations. Our older dog had gone to the bathroom on it several times and, although it was an expensive rug, we were hoping just to get the smell out of it so we could use it on our screened in porch. It was a last ditch effort and, again, we weren't expecting much. To our surprise, Able Carpet returned a rug that looked brand new. They had gotten all the stains and the smell out of the rug which was amazing. These people really know what they are doing when it comes to cleaning rugs. I will take any future rugs here

I called to get a price to clean a Karastan 8.5 X 11 wool area rug. Able quoted me $371 to pick it up, submerge clean and return in two weeks. Call me crazy, but that is over 10% of the cost of the rug when it was new. The most I ever paid in Chicago, for the same service (pickup, take offsite, submerge clean and return) was around $180 including tax. This was from local Chicago business where I actually visited their warehouse and saw the process...we used them for years. The reason I go into this detail is one of the Able owners challenged me on the price. I gave them all the information
