Birk Manufacturing is a privately held S-Corp founded in and owned by Norman Birk since 1989. This 36,000-SQFT manufacturing facility is located in East Lyme, Connecticut. Over the past 25 plus years, Birk Inc. has grown into an industry leader for thermal management and custom turn-key solutions. AS9100 was developed and released by the Society of Automotive Engineers and the European Association of Aerospace Industries. It is a collection of sections built upon the ISO 9001 certification clauses. These sections place even higher standards on system processes, documentation, on-time delivery, and risk assessment.
Flexible heaters are often utilized by design engineers because the insulation materials in their system cannot withstand the temperatures of. Birk's Kapton heaters provide even distribution of heat and exhibit exceptionally fast rates of thermal recovery. These Kapton heaters are. Birk's Mica heaters are designed for applications that require higher than normal watt densities and fast temperature recovery.
Birk Manufacturing produces flexible heating elements which are thin, reliable, and easily conformable to any shape.
