Awful, the level of the house uneven, the installation in the walls of the house and the garage were pathetic, they didn't listen to details with the house. We asked for wood flooring in the entrance, hallway and the living room in the house and they put in cheap carpet in the living room and hallway instead, the closets were too small, no gutters to the house, the hvac was too small and no steps going to the garage. I told them they forgot to put the steps going to garage. He said they don't do that. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I bought a home from C&C Builders in April, 2020. We were misled from the beginning by the Realtor (Caldwell Banker) and the contractor. They lied to us about what was included in the project. Now that we are in, they will not address certain items that were deficient during construction. Does only minimal amount of work to "get by. This builder is very unprofessional and rude. We have lived in this house for 10 months and have had nothing but problems. Sheet rock issues, yard caving in all over the place, nothing in the house is square or level, poor workmanship, never stained steps

Agree with most review. Terrible design, engineering and construction. Builder indicates energy efficiency - that can easily be obtained when significantly under sizing the AC and the electrical system. Putting in cheap shutoff valves on the water and smaller pipes to restrict the water flow.
Then when try to get approval to install solar panels told NO without any reason. Could it be that don't like the looks outside. To me it is better to look at than work vehicles (such as trailers with wrecked cars) parked on the street, in driveways or common areas all which the Deed Restrictions prohibit

I should note that I purchased my home with C&C over a decade ago (12 years) and I have had a great experience with them and the product has lasted with very little repair. I have called while in and out of warranty and received assistance when it really was not their duty to assist. A very close friend that I gained from the neighborhood I purchased my home in, also had a great experience and a great home built by C&C.

Horrible builder. Terrible customer service and pretty rude. There one year warranty is a joke, they will not honor anything and there house are built terrible. Nothing level, and nothing squared. Who ever does there sheet rock work needs to be fired. Would never recommend this shade tree home builder to anyone.

Will never build with them again. Should have ran when we ran into problems during construction, including threatening to stop construction (months into construction) unless we paid a change fee for something we submitted less than a week after signing. Poor communication among workers and the owner. Needed constant supervision at the job site. Had consistent basement leaks since being built. Had a case against them by the SC LLR for multiple building code errors, but the builder was friends with the board members and had the case thrown out, after being in process for years! They never faced repercussions

C&C puts great upgrades in a house, but does a horrible job on all of the minor details. My bathtub wasn't even put in level! They do not follow through with their warranty, and they don't care about anything once the house is sold. I wouldn't recommend them if you want to be cared about after you sign papers!
