If a dark stain is to be applied on the floor we water popp the entire floor with a sprayer. Apply two coats of finish in one day waiting 4 hours in between coats if using a waterbased finish. Leo was amazing. During his initial consultation he listened to what I wanted and explained options without pressing a particular finish. He showed up right on time and his team finished ahead of schedule, and worked around my schedule for stain tests etc. I am so impressed with their work-- my original oak floors had been really beaten up over time and they look new, with lovely grain. Oh, and he was less expensive than the other 2 quotes!

Couldn’t be any happier with Leo and his crew. Professional, timely and good quality work. Even worked late into the night and on Saturday just to get the job done. Paid attention to details in refinishing our 22 year old oak floors. Floors went from a golden aged color to a beautiful silvered gray. Highly recommend.

Leo's team did an outstanding job on our dated entry-way and connected dining room wood flooring. We were not exactly sure on color b/c we are having the kitchen floor (currently vinyl) done in a few months w/ an engineered flooring. Leo and his team helped pick the color and it came out spectacular, hard to believe it's the same floor.
With Covid-19 still a very important issue, his team always wore a mask, as we did too while they were here.

Leo’s Floors refinished our downstairs red oak floors and they did a great job. Leo worked with us to formulate the best plan for the refinishing job. They mostly completed the work while we were on vacation. We found a few areas that needed to be tweaked and they took care of it very promptly, on the weekend, no less. We hired Leo to refinish white oak hardwoods in two homes. Timing was really important to us because of closing and moving dates. Leo started and finished both jobs on time, and the results were stunning. He is energetic and passionate about his work. One of the great things about this company is that the owner does every job himself, and oversees the details. You don't get that with larger floor companies. After much calling around and reviewing companies, we decided to go with Leo. I am very happy to say that his company and team did a fantastic job and were very patient with us. Leo and his partner refinished our 1600 sq ft downstairs. They arrived on time, and did a wonderful job. The floor looks outstanding. I still have times when I look at our red oak floor and admire it. We discovered a very small place they missed with the second coat of urethane and he promptly showed up to fix it. I would not hesitate to hire them again and in fact want him to install a floor upstairs and I'm waiting for an estimate when we get home after thanksgiving. His price was quite competitive.
