Palmetto Tree Service just completed another tree trimming and thinning to better prepare for a hurricane. Robert and his A crew were a 10+.

Robert and his crew were Amazing! They took down a 70-80' water oak that was hanging over our house and making a mess, not to mention how dangerous. These guys operated like surgeons to take it down safely. They had I think like 6 guys all working together so smoothly, never saw one guy standing around, everyone has there responsibility. I joked with my wife we spent 15 minutes looking at the Grand Canyon, yet I watched these guys for 3 hours in amazement how they disassembled a massive tree in a dangerous spot. If you want Pros, I can't say I've ever seen better trained professionals in any trade

I’ve seen these amazing guys twice this summer (because I didn’t listen to their expertise on a tree that was leaning off my fence line). Cannot say enough positive things about their great clean up, QUICK work, and truly mesmerizing tree climbing. I’m from Vermont, I appreciate a skilled arborist! Robert, the owner, came to check on his crew during the job and even handled my problem tree personally on a Saturday! Eric handled the crew and checked in with me every step to make sure I was happy with the work! Eric also had knowledge on banana plants and saved my bunch (haaa). Really can’t

We just had Palmetto Tree Service come and trim back a large 18 year old Crepe Myrtle. We had considered removing the tree because of how messy it was in our driveway but after talking with Rob the owner we decided to trim it back and decrease it's size. They did an excellent job and they did not butcher it the way you see so many of these trees cut back I believe it's referred to as Crepe Murder. I would highly recommend them for their sound advice and professional service.

Robert was very professional when he came to assess our property and what needed to be done. He gave an accurate estimate and gave options if we wanted to remove certain trees for overgrown areas. He is very experienced and we are grateful for taking all his advice about plant growth and management. We now have an even more beautiful yard with the natural beauty on display with more room for a garden. His crew was very well trained and courteous as well. We will hire them again for future work when the need arises

I don't ever write reviews, but I always heavily depend on them. So you might be asking, why am I writing one? It’s because of the outstanding service I received from Palmetto Tree Service. Robert and his team are professional and knowledgeable. They care about the job, client service, and nature.
When I first met Robert he acted as a trusted advisor. Explaining what would be best for our backyard and ways we could bring back trees into the landscape once we “cleaned it up”. We had a massive job for them to do, 17 trees and stumps to remove in a smaller sized backyard.

Just had tree work done in our yard AFTER having it landscaped. Probably not the most logical sequence. The guys at Palmetto Tree Service were very careful and our yard was immaculate when they finished. They even moved 2 hydrangeas so they wouldn't be destroyed. Robert Thompson knows trees and is confident in his decisions about what needs to be done. I am very indecisive and am glad I listened to him. My trees and yard look 100% better. Highly recommend these guys and they have an A+ with the BBB.
