Angie Gaebler leads the firm in their preservation efforts. Her award-winning work includes a diverse body of preservation, rehabilitation and adaptive use projects throughout the Midwest and East Coast regions. Her expertise has proven beneficial when designing sensitive and creative solutions for architecturally and culturally significant historic properties.
The firm provides comprehensive Architectural and Planning services. Our areas of expertise focus mainly on Historic Preservation, Restoration, and Planning/Consulting work. Strata Architecture Inc. has professional registration in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The firm meets all 36 CFR Part 61 requirements set forth by the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
STRATA Architecture Inc. worked closely with the State of Missouri Office of Administration and representatives from the Missouri State Senate to restore the historic Senate Chamber Press Gallery space in the Missouri State Capitol. This space, which lies directly behind the Senate dais, had been in-filled in the mid-Twentieth Century with a maze of one and two-story office spaces.
Stone Condition Assessment & Site Improvements - Exterior Rehabilitation of Stone Monuments, Buildings, Fountains and Landscape. As part of the Gould Evans Design Team, our firm prepared construction documents and performed construction administration services for the exterior restoration work which was prioritized based upon the previous Stone Condition Assessment Report completed in 2010.
