Moving is a stressful process, and it's important to work with people you can trust. My career has resulted in 4 interstate moves in the past 10 years. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere for moving assistance.
Short version: The movers and driver were rude, smoked cigarettes inside the truck around our belongings and stunk up our house, showed up late, forced us to physically help with the move, and broke our furniture. Complaints were ignored and our damage claim was denied. We spent over $7000.
We contracted through North American Van Lines via Mid-Michigan Moving and Storage (3000

Absolutely the worst moving experience I have had in my life (and I've moved a lot). The manager of the office was condescending and demeaning, and he provided awful customer service. On top of that, I had a tremendous amount of items damaged or lost. They've apparently been in business since 1908, but they're not going to last much longer at this level of professionalism. Choose any other company!

I recently used Lansing Moving to move my daughter's furniture from her apartment at Michigan State into storage for the summer. We used them again to move her things from storage into her new apartment at the end of the summer.
For both moves they were courteous and professional. They were on time and worked quickly And efficiently. I would not hesitate to use them again, and would recommend them to others as well.
