After over a decade of investing in homes and remodeling as a side business, Dave and Robin found Wichita Wood Floor Specialists to be the perfect opportunity to make home remodeling their main business and to explore and expand a business that fits their wheelhouse. They purchased Wichita Wood Floor Specialists in 2018 and have taken great pride in nurturing it and making it their own.

For floors that have scratches in the finish and minimal scratches in the color, WWFS has a sandless process to refinish your floors. We will start by removing contaminants, polishes, dirt, debris, and all residue with an intensive cleaning. Following that, we will address scratches in the existing stain with our stain markers and prep the floor for the finish coat.

We live in an old house in College Hill. Our main staircase needed refinished but we were apprehensive to have it done. I am super picky and I wanted the stairs to look perfect. After two years of putting it off, we had Wichita Wood Floor Specialists refinish our floors.
They spent 14 hours sanding our stairs - I kept track of the time. The sanding was excellent - the stairs looked perfect even without the stain and poly. The stain they used is a perfect match. The stairs look absolutely perfect. I was beyond impressed.

Austin and Dairry did an amazing job refinishing our floor. They arrived on time, professional and made us all very comfortable. They spent time answering questions, took time to deal with my pet parade every day... and a neighboring visitor or two. I would recommend them any time to anyone! The poly coat was applied by Chad with precision and the same expertise Austin and Dairry showed with the stain. Every step of the process was well done and well explained

Love it! Love it! Love it! So here’s the deal... I met David and his wife Robin (Owners) before I left for two weeks to visit my family out east. My 101 year old quartersawn oak floors looked horrible. When I walked in the front door after being away...absolutely immaculate! They informed me that Earin and Paul were the main guys doing the work. So, I’d like to give a shout out to them for their attention to detail and blood, sweat and tears they put into my floors. I used WWFS to restore the second story bedroom straight grain fir wood floors in my 1910 Craftsman Bungalow. They arrived on schedule and had the work completed in less than a week. My floors were a mess with paint, stains, gouges, etc. They now look brand new and I couldn't be more pleased with the crew of Lance and Carlos - great ambassadors for the company. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. I'm sure I'll be using them in the future on other projects! (and they didn't leave a mess)

We were very pleased with the work Wichita Wood Floors did in our kitchen. We had water damage and had to have the existing kitchen floor sanded & refinished. Since this was being done, I wanted them to match the color of the floor in our living room. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

We just had our floors repaired and refinished by Kevin and Paul from Wichita Wood Floor Specialists and wow did they turn out fantastic! The floors were in very poor shape when we bought our house and their excellent skill brought our home back alive. We had Wichita Wood Floor Specialists patch, sand and refinish our 70 year old wood floors. Jesse came out to inspect our floors and was friendly and professional. He explained the process clearly and told us what to expect.
The crew made quick work of our floors and did an excellent job keeping the rest of our house dust free during the process. The floors look amazing while maintaining the charm of original hardwood.
