Bay Builders & Remodeling

We contracted Bay Builders & Remodeling to undertake remodeling two bathrooms and installing a completely new kitchen cabinets. The overall results have been outstanding and I couldn't be happier. This is largely due to the overall project manager Tal Monero. Tal is the consummate professional and provided exceptional customer service. From the beginning, he scoped out the entire project plan, listening and ensuring this encompassed our requirements. The plan was broken down into multiple phases, with the costs clearly outlined. He then put together and introduced us to the team implementing the project. My wife and I had limited experience with remodeling, so Tal was great, for example, introducing us to a bathroom designer who walked us through all the options available to us, within our personal taste and budget. The designer then coordinated with Tal and and the rest of the remodeling team, ensuring all the purchased items were delivered smoothly. One of the most impressive elements of Tal and the team was how they handled unforeseen circumstances. Every project will run into things not planned for. In our case, for example, the we discovered the kitchen flooring was not even in places, and this would ultimately impact the evenness of the cabinet levels. Tal and team quickly came up with a solution to build a foundation to ensure everything would be even. At the end of the day, when you work with a contractor, it comes down to trust and confidence that they have your best interest at heart, they are not going to screw you over and are looking to deliver the best possible project outcome for you. We first heard about Bay Builders from a realtor friend who highly recommended them. We interviewed multiple contractors, all of whom had done nice work, but Bay Builders really stood out right from the beginning. During the proposal process, they came to the house a few times to ensure they captured the full scope of the project. Additionally, we wanted to see their quality of work so Gilad arranged a few site visits and connected us with past clients who all raved about Gilad and his team. It was clear that Bay Builders was the best choice for quality and speed.

From the beginning of the process until the end, Bay Builders was exceptional to work with. We had a dedicated project manager, Tomar, who really helped communicate what was happening that week and managed the subs. More importantly, Tomar was such a pleasure to work with. He is very approachable, detailed and diligent. I've heard nightmare stories about other contractors being slow, hard to contact and missing deadlines, but Gilad and Tomar made the entire process stress free and enjoyable! They were great about keeping us informed about what was going on, what decisions needed to be made so that we could stay on schedule. If any issues arose, Gilad and Tomar would always come to the table with a solution and assure us that at the end of the day, they wanted to make sure we were happy.

The quality of their work is outstanding and our project finished on time which is rarity given the complexity and change orders associated with our remodel! They have excellent communication skills, are very detail oriented and most importantly, have your best interest at heart. I would highly recommend them. Everyone who has seen the finished product is blown away by the transformation. We are so happy with how our home turned out.

1/31/2022 what started out as an amazing experience, now its turning into one of the worst as this project is coming to an end.

Lack of ownership in completing details and no real effort to provide great customer experience. No ownership on mistakes, no apologies, lots of mental pressure is being put on the customer to accept an unfinished project. No ability to accept feedback. I would not recommend Bay Builders.

We bought a house in 2020 and knew we wanted to take out a couple walls, remove popcorn ceiling and carpet and replace basically everything. They not only had the best most thoughtful proposal but the best price also. Going through the remodel with Gilad and Rene has been seem-less really bc of the communication and professionalism. They really want the best for this house and for us as a family. Stop looking for another company and hire Bay builders! They made our remodel experience so easy (as easy as a remodel can be.) Tom walked us through every step and what to expect. He communicated with us pretty much daily and stopped by often to check on the progress. Tom was always accessible by text, phone and e-mail. We were looking to build an addition to our house and came across Bay Builders & Remodeling. We received several bids and chose Bay Builders because of competitive planning pricing and the fact that they were the only company we evaluated which covered all stages: planning, design and building, and credit planning cost toward building expenses. Now that our project completed, I can tell that we have made good choice. We are very impressed with quality of work.

We were looking to renovate our outdated kitchen for a few years already, but we always put our plan on hold because finding a great construction team is really difficult. I have had a great experience working with Bay Builders & Remodeling these past three months, especially Isaac Rozolyo the project manager for my major kitchen and master bathroom remodel project for my condo in San Carlos. We are currently undergoing our kitchen remodeling. We are so happy that we hired Bay Builders and Remodeling.
Our project manager, Isaac, has a very pleasant personality and he is really easy to work with. He’s constantly checking in at our site and communicating very well with me and with his coworkers. Even I have a small question, he always answers and eases my mind. In the beginning, he showed us 3D design of how the kitchen would turn out after the remodeling. We had our master bathroom remodeled with Isaac as the PM and Miguel the lead contractor. We are really happy with our beautiful new bathroom and adjacent walk-in closet. Both Isaac and Miguel are very positive people and good communicators, so when the inevitable small glitches came up, we were able to work easily through them.

While searching for contractors to remodel our master and guest bathrooms, some friends recommended Bay Builders. We contacted them and Gilad responded immediately and came to our home to assemble a quote. The pricing was competitive and we selected them. During the planning process, we asked for help in narrowing down the endless selections of tiles, etc. Gilad asked us to provide some photos of colors and styles we liked, and then he took us to various stores to pick out everything. This was incredibly helpful and was a big plus for us.
