As a versatile and socially conscious natural restoration company, we strive to use low to no VOC products in the finishing of our floors. Due to this philosophy, we do not utilize commercial oil or water-based stain as a sealer or colorant in our refinishing process. We wanted someone to help sand and restain our new floors before moving in as the old floors were all different shades and very dark. Not only could Jessie fit us in, but she educated us about our floors and provided a quote efficiently that was very reasonable compared to competitors. A late review.. Jessie and her team refinished my floors about two years ago, and they still look amazing! I get so many compliments on them. I had a tight timeline between my apartment lease expiring and wanting to have the floors refinished before actually moving into my new place, and Jessie was able to squeeze me into her schedule to make that happen. Where do I begin? After dreaming of these floors for 5+ years, Jessie and her amazing crew brought the dream to reality. Only it was not so cut and dry – – unforeseen circumstances between install and extreme humidity caused our floors to shift and separate in an extreme manner. This was incredibly stressful for me, and no doubt, incredibly expensive for CHR, but Jessie was an absolute rock star and stood by her product and company and had her crew tear out, reinstall, and refinish the multiple times that it was necessary to make our floors perfect. Loved working with CHR. They did a fantastic job on the floors. Jessie was great and stopped by for a whole hour just because I was worried what sheen to put on our floors. We had our whole house done and they were able to remove almost every scratch, stain and blemish from hundred year old oak floors. Far beyond what I ever thought possible. I would use them again for anything. Worth every penny and all the time 100x over. We get more compliments on our floor than anything else.

We're so glad we trusted our 112 something year old floors to Jessie and her team, led by Anthony. They were amazing to work with every step of the way. I knew that it would take weeks to get on the schedule and Jessie came out with a days notice to time the quote with our house inspection. Then, the closing on our new / old house was delayed - twice. She worked with us to reschedule - twice. Not an easy feat when you're a busy as this crew. Jessie and her team did a great job on our floors. From start to finish she kept in communication and more importantly took their time to achieve the best results. Don't be upset if it takes longer than quoted, things happen and you don't want your job rushed. In addition, you can expect trim at the floor level to get bumped and scraped during the process. Its nearly impossible to avoid this. Yes, I had to go back and touch up some spots but I fully expected it. You can't go wrong with Cleveland Hardwood!

Jessie and the team were fantastic. Her passion for hardwood restoration gave us a lot of hope for our damaged 100 year old white oak floors, and they delivered! It was easy and quick to get a hold of Jessie via email and text, and she was able to squeeze us into their schedule before moving into our new home. There were a few stains left over from previous pet damage, but overall we were amazed at how smooth and beautiful even the roughest, textured areas turned out.
