Over 20 years of experience, we are providing flooring service in South WA and Portland Metro area. We can go extra miles to serve you. We are dedicated to providing superior quality service for you. We are happy to visit your home and provide you with a free, in-home estimate. During our visit we will work with you to understand your design ideas and will help you to make best decision.
Raw wood Flooring also comes in a wide variety of species, colors and widths. These floors are sanded and finished on site after installation. This means some "downtime" due to the sanding and finishing process. A site sanded floor looks and feels better, but it does produce a flatter floor. The floor can be stained to your desired color and finished with a very durable polyurethane coating.
We had the entire downstairs quarter-saw white oak floors refinished, and a carpeted living room updated with the same oak. Many of the heating registers and returns were butchered over the 90 years my house has existed, Aleksey replaced all of them with wood grates, and repaired all of the surrounding boards to be laced together as if they were always made this way.

From the min I found Ava Construction online, it was a great experience! On time, communicative, and did a DAMN good job. And honest! Which is very important. Wow!!! We couldn’t be happier with the Job Aleksey the owner of Ava Construction LLc did on our house. He was professional, finished ahead of schedule and the price was right. From start to finish everything went perfectly. He perfectly installed pre finished hardwoods in our 115 year old home that we will enjoy for years to come. I wish we knew about him 8 years ago when we did our main floor floors (he’s been in business for 20 years) We hired lynch brothers flooring who did those and they are pretty disappointing by comparison. This is the third time we have used AVA Construction. First time Aleskey refinished our floors in the kitchen and entry way. Excellent job. We later had Aleskey install hardwood floors throughout the downstairs. Aleskey did an amazing job. This time we had the upstairs completely done. Can't say enough about the quality of work. Always on time and keeps you well informed on the progress. Highly recommend AVA Construction.
