Mike actually got his start from his family roots with his father and uncle also being locksmiths since 1986. This owner has probably the worst communication and customer service skills.. I asked him to come and make me a new key for my car.. he asked me for address and gave me a time.. we set an APPOINTMENT!!!! He never showed up because he called me when I was at work and said he was confirming .. he never gave me a heads up that I should expect a call from him.. I can't look at my phone. My husband was at home waiting on him .. after work I called him and explained I was at work and if he could come at a later time .. all he could do was give me an attitude and ask me what I was calling him for

Richard came out within 30 minutes. He gave me the rate over the phone and there wasn't anything more. He didn't ask or need to know what kind of car I had before quoting me. Unlike all the other companies that I called, he didn't give me a starting quote and then say I'll get a final after they see my car. What he gave over the phone was it. I'm so appreciative because based on reviews of the other companies, they were going to try and rake me over the coals! Their starting rates to come out were his final rate. I'm sending referrals out to all I know. Highly recommend

Twice now we've used Cheap Lock & Key to re-key all of the locks on a house and they are excellent in every way. It has taken months for me to remember to write a review, so I'm not 100% sure I remember his name correctly, but I'm pretty sure the guy who did the work for us both times was Mike. I especially like that both times he [1] was very considerate of our time by staying in communication with me about scheduling and showing up when he said he would (a simple thing that's not as common with locksmiths as you would think), [2] was very knowledgeable, thorough, and patient

Wow, I must say that these people and this company is the absolute best. Last week our car just magically stopped starting up when we put our key in the ignition. After calling SEVERAL locksmiths and different companies that repair keys we finally found the one we will go to from now on out. Our technician and EXPERT, Mike, had the best personality and never gave up even when he thought that it was a bigger deeper problem then it was. After spending SEVERAL hours on our Mercedes Benz C230 he finally got the key programmed and ready to drive again! Words can't describe what a feeling a relief

Okay - so I needed another key for my 2013 Corolla - of the two keys I started with, 1 was lost - the other, the transponder went dead. So I have been operating with only 1 key in my possession - making me a bit nervous. Saw this fellow passing me on Bruce B Downs, took his info, called him a day ago.
