Our philosophy honors the importance of exemplifying these elements alongside our social responsibilities and our belief in environmental consciousness.
Made in small batches, by the husband and wife team, in their Ventura, California brick and mortar store. Their products are inspired by their heritages and eco-conscious beliefs. Each product is made with clean organic ingredients and housed in reusable or recyclable packaging. Folke products are good for you and the earth.
All of our upholstered pieces are designed with quality and function in mind. We believe in consistency, simplicity, and attention-to-detail without sacrificing style or comfort. Each piece is built to order, for every individual client. Everything is made from start to finish, in the same building, in Los Angeles, California.
All of our furniture is professionally restored by us on site. If you have a mid-century piece that you would like to bring back to life, send us an email with photos of the item and any damage, and we will get back to you with a restoration quote. Although we like to keep our pieces as original as possible, some items require new upholstery.

The best! I found out about Folke from an article online, focused on sustainable couches. From my first call, Matt and everyone at the store were helpful and knowledgable. Even though I live several hundred miles from the store, we were able to go through fabrics--they have a great selection--and Folke custom made such beautiful and comfortable couches (I got two)! As an added bonus, their delivery times were much faster than other companies I'd looked at. I would recommend them to anyone who wants more sustainable (and beautiful) furniture while supporting a small business with great service

So many good things about this store! They have a constantly changing inventory of vintage Scandinavian furniture that has been perfectly restored. They also have great home accessories that you won't find anywhere else. Perfect for a gift for that friend with great style. The owners are lovely. Thanks for letting me in the other night when you were closed!

This is a great place for all lovers of Scandinavian mid-century modern style. They have pottery, candles (from Scandinavia and also some hand poured in Ventura),rugs, throws, pillows, macrame, plants, books, and much more.
They just opened after moving from their previous location downtown when they were the Wooden Nickel (and they still have those cute mini-bison).
