Finn-Martens Design is a full service residential interior design firm that specializes in renovation projects, including kitchen and bath design. With over 19 years of design experience, Pat Finn creates unique and timeless, yet practical, spaces that suit the individual lifestyle of each of her clients.
Pat Finn's circuitous route to a design career has inspired her tireless passion to transform spaces into comfortable, beautiful homes. She grew up in Beverly Cove in an entrepreneurial family that has been involved in real estate sales and construction on Boston's North Shore for more than 50 years.
A degree in economics from Smith College led to a job in consulting, which led to a business trip to The Netherlands where she met her husband (cute story!), and a stint in the corporate world in New Jersey lasted long enough for her to realize that wasn't for her. Proximity to New York City led to a career change and a design degree from the New York School of Interior Design.

The design work was perfect, moving a washer dryer to the first floor in a 100 year old house is no easy task. The most amazing thing was that she was able to make sure that all of the original woodwork and doors were saved, so that when the construction was done the house looked like it always did. The attention to detail was fabulous. We even have more storage space. I would absolutely hire this firm again.
