AS 2013 fades off into the past, we are all reminded of the projects we have completed this year (YEAH). Then we think ahead. Dan the Doorman, Inc. was originally started in 1976 by four fireman as a moonlighting, part-time effort. Incorporating in 1979 and remaining part-time until 1986 when Dan the Doorman, Inc. was purchased by the Marshall family.
The Marshall Family realized the potential for a company with a catchy name offering an excellent quality of product and providing expert installation and service. Dan the Doorman, Inc. is an authorized dealer for Wayne Dalton and Genie products as well as other residential and commercial door products.
Dan the Doorman, Inc. is a member of the Cincinnati Better Business Burea, Clermont's Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association of America, The National Door and Operator's Dealers Association, and the 100 Club. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction. That's why if you call by noon you will receive Same Day Service.

Spring broke on my super heavy garage door. Came right away didn't have the right spring rescheduling for the next day. Had to bring a couple more helpers...remember the weight of door. The finished product...job well done. Price was moderate. No issues. BTW Dan the Doorman is also Don Murphy Doors and a few others. Recommend.

I called them on behalf of overwhelmed family members and spoke with Casey. He was super kind, professional, gave me an immediate estimate over the phone for the work (as I described it) and had us scheduled for the best appointment for our family. I was overwhelmed on the weekend and received a text message I read quickly, confirming the appointment. I thought it was from a different company I had canceled with weeks prior, and was frustrated, so I called and spoke with a lovely woman and said, "I canceled this weeks ago" she was patient and kind with me (even when I was curt) and made a note

There guy arrived on time and was quick to fix the problem, there was a bearing bad in the shaft plate. They charged me less then the other guy who must have missed this the day before. I needed a new chain on my door opener and my son used this company so I called. They came out the next day and installed the new one. The serviceman said I probably would be needing some new rollers so he could install them while he was here. I said okay and he did so. The door worked fine and we were both happy. That was several years ago and I haven't had a problem since !

I called for repair on my garage door that they had previously repaired 2 years ago. I was told that they couldn’t fix it but they could replace the entire door opener for some $395+ $95 service call fee.
I explained that they had repaired it before, I had the invoice and that it was the reason for calling them again. They said that the repair was done by Dan the Doorman but they bought out that company and they were no longer affiliated with them.
I told them that that was not my issue, and shouldn’t matter- they should attempt to fix it. They put the “owner” on the phone. Let’s just

Deserves less than one star. We hired this company to replace our back kitchen door and basement door. In the process they slammed the kitchen door into the wall of the kitchen, putting a hole through the wall. We called to complain, and were told that they didn't have the tools to fix it and we would have to do it ourselves. Didn't we hire you and pay you to make our house look better? Also the work was not completed on time and required us to take additional time out of our work schedules. Generally not happy at all that we paid for this service. Now we have to have our entire kitchen

They installed a retractable awning for my home. Not only did they install it in record time (what I portray as quick) but they also made sure to explain how to use the remote that came with it. Since it is installed over our deck and the sun shines brightest at different time throughout the day having the ability to move it where I want it has been wonderful. I have already noticed a temperature change inside my home saving me who knows how much money already. Everyone from the service guys, to the salesman we talked to and even to Bianca in the office was as helpful and enjoyable to deal with

On August 3, 2015 a service representative from Dan the Doorman came to my house to give a quote on a new garage door and opener. I agreed to the quote which stated that the door would be delivered within 2-3 weeks, and paid Jeff a 50% down payment of $787 to order the door that day. Several weeks passed and Jeff called me stating that the door had yet to arrive, however he expected it any day then. After hearing nothing about my door on Sept 2, one month later I called Dan the Doorman and asked about the status of my garage door. The person who answered the phone stated she didn't know but would
