Founded in 1963, the members of the HBAF are builders, developers, suppliers, bankers, mortgage brokers and marketing professionals. The HBAF is in the top 10 largest associations among the 62 local associations in North Carolina. For over fifty years the association has provided members with a variety of resources on the housing industry as well as opportunities to grow and improve their businesses.

Looking to the future, the HBAF will continue to look for ways to service the needs of its members.
Services
When you join the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville, you receive the benefits of three memberships. Insurance - Nobody knows the builder like Builders Mutual. We know that working efficiently means working more productively - and more profitably. Part of that efficiency is keeping all your "tools" in one box.
HBAF brings the bright lights of Vegas to town! Guests try their hand at blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps as Fayetteville is transformed into a Vegas Casino! Throughout the evening there is live entertainment, appetizers and plenty of prizes! Whether you win or lose, proceeds benefit the HBAF Construction Scholarship at the FTCC Foundation.
As an approved NC Licensing Board for General Contractors education provider, the HBAF is offering CE courses throughout the year (no classes in December), either in-person or virtually, based on executive orders and CDC guidelines. We offer 8-hour courses on a variety of topics for the electives, all of which are NC Builder Institute (NCBI) courses.
The one constant in the home building industry is changing. New products, changing technology, and evolving legal and building code laws are just a few of the industry's elements that require constant vigilance and training. To assist home builders and other industry professionals to stay on the cutting edge, the North Carolina Home Builders Association developed the North Carolina Builder Institute (NCBI).
Robert Privott provides consultative services to NCHBA members on building codes, inspections and material defect issues and represents the interests of NCHBA members before the Building Code Council, the Code Officials Qualification Board, and in the N.C. General Assembly.
