I was contracted Home Mechanical through American Home Shield. My first experience was when my central A/C went out. They claimed I needed to shell out 1700 for a coil replacement. I approved the fix. My tenants then proceed to tell me the central A/C malfunctioned again. They came back out to resolve the issue. Fast forward a year later, my furnace doesn't light up. I file a service request with AHS and Home Mechanical is contracted out again. They proceed to diagnose the issue as an old system in need of replacement. They quoted me 1700 again. I call AHS and request a different contractor be

American home shield sent them for my AC. Told me I needed a new unit. When my information was submitted to AHS they failed to include the outside unit. I requested new company for a second opinion and they actually checked the unit, replaced a small part and it's working fine now. Just trying to scam people and the warranty company

I totally disagree with the Google 1 star reviews because they do not reflect what I experienced with Home Mechanical.
Our outdoor unit fan stopped working and Joel diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He was dispatched by American Home Shield. Joel is a very friendly expert and he explained and answered all my tech questions. I highly recommend Joel at Home Mechanical LLC.

I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! They are liars! They do not honor their time frames. They act like I am crazy because they do not show up on time. Then they say it's not worth their time to come out to my house to perform a service I would pay for! WHO RUNS A COMPANY LIKE THIS!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!! TRUST ME DON'T USE THEM!!!!!

AC out for a full day and Joel (owner & technician) came out to the house as part of our American Home Shield policy (shame on American Home Shield for recommending him!). Joel is not only arrogant and thinks he knows it all, but lazy and totally incompetent! He refused to do a thorough inspection/diagnose of my system. Unfortunately, within 48hrs we had to call him back because my AC was not working again! This has been the worst customer service experience that I can recall! Stay away from Home Mechanical (Joel Garcia) and save yourself a headache and money!

Horrendous. Don't waste your time. AC out for a full day and he came out as part of our American Homeshield policy and refused to do the work. Saw that the furnace was in an attic and flat out refused and THEN said, "This is why I own my own business is so that I can refuse jobs and work on what I want to." The furnace can be tricky to get to, but not a big deal and you can stand up at the furnace also. I'm overweight, out of shape and not flexible at all and I go up there all the time to switch out air filters. This was just pure laziness on his part. Hey, "This is why I work in digital marketing
