I hired West Valley Arborists to trim a row of trees on one side of my property. I am quite impressed by the professionalism, speed, and versatility of the crew. They trimmed each tree according to our exact specification which optimizes the light coming into each room while maintaining privacy. The crew cleaned up immaculately before they left as well.

We just had the West Valley Arborist crew out to our Sunnyvale home and they did an exceptional job. It was the best trimming of our two orange trees in 25 years. They also removed a magnolia tree in our backyard that sadly we had to lose but done with great skill. The team also provided our trees with needed nutrients as they have struggled of late. Knowledgeable, skillful, productive and good communication. My family recommends Simon and his team highly and will hire them again.

West Valley Arborists are experts: clean, courteous, and knowledgeable. Simon's team trims trees to keep them healthy and without damaging them which maintains your home's property value. Highly recommended! They also clean up the residue. Note: Any tree service can use the term "arborist" but buyer beware: if they are not a certified arborist, you may end up with a topped tree: an ugly, damaged tree (poor thing!)

West Valley Arborists removed dead Birch tree in my front lawn and trimmed a Chinese Pistache canopy that as blocking a street light. They arrived on time and completed their work quickly. When they finished, they cleaned up after themselves excellently. The crew was careful not to damage any of the sprinklers in my front lawn, which was quite a challenge, since the tree they were taking down was right on top of them. The price for their work was reasonable. Their office staff was also very professional and helpful. I would be happy to recommend West Valley Arborists to anyone who needs tree work

Overall, great experience. The crew was on time (actually, a little early), knowledgeable about our trees, and had excellent communication skills. If they had questions about one of the tasks regarding servicing one of our trees, they would ask before starting to ensure they understood what needed to be done. After they were done, they hauled away all of the pruned/cut tree parts. They do actually practice what preach about being environmentally aware-the tree parts get donated to schools that need mulch-not much gets wasted.

I was referred to West Valley Arborists by my real estate agent and had a wonderful experience with Simon and his team. With El Nino looming, I was nervous about the big oak tree in my backyard crashing onto my house and / or damaging my neighbors' property since it sits in the corner.
Setting up a consultation appointment with Simon was quick and easy and when he came out to inspect the tree, he put any concerns I had to rest.
