We are truly blessed to have found James at 1st Choice Air. Our a/c final bit the dust and he came by after hours to assess and provide a great price for a new unit and installation. James and Dylan arrived on time and provided exceptional service. They even went above and beyond the call of duty and fixed some wiring and air duct issues that they found unsatisfactory. My AC wasn’t running and James was able to come out, diagnose my issue, and suggest repairs promptly and professionally. He willingly passed on his knowledge of my unit while he did his work so I could better understand what needed to be done. He did not try to push me into any superfluous maintenance, he had all necessary equipment on hand, and he offered me quite reasonable pricing. Everything is working properly again. Thank you, James!

James was recommended to us by our neighbor who recently had new systems installed. We reached out on an a/c unit which was running longer cycles and not cooling enough and that unit was quickly diagnosed as being overcharged, and rectified by balancing the air. James also checked our other systems which had bad capacitors and shorts in wiring and fixed those before the peak summer would take them out of service. His attention to detail, and taking the time to verify that everything was working right proved that he truly understands his work and is very good at it. We would absolutely recommend

James was great! He knew exactly what the problem was when I called and described the cooling issue I was having with my AC. He came the same day within a few hours. He installed the new part and my unit is running great! He explained everything and also checked out some other issues I was having with cooling. He’s very friendly and professional. If your looking for someone that is going to treat you right, provide superior service and knows his product call James. He went out of his normal service area and came up to Huntsville to access the work and get everything we wanted and so much more. I am probably the hardest homeowner to work with and I take my time to ask a million questions, look at pictures, requests details all the things when it come to a large purchase like a totally new system and James took the time to answer everything and then more. He never treated me like I was an inconvenience or a burden.

James inspected my AC unit for any leaks and found a large leak in the evaporator coil. My warranty company never received payment for the warranty and didn’t inform me until I needed them. James gave me 5lbs of free Freon to get me through the night In order to get my home warranty worked out. Very knowledgeable and easy going. I highly recommend James at 1st choice air repair for any AC or heater related maintenance or repair.

James did a great job on our unit! He came in and installed a new thermostat and took a look at our AC which has never run quite correctly since we moved in. He came out the next day and serviced and repaired it. He was on time and did a great job. He made sure to explain everything to us so we understood the services and the cost. We will definitely be using James for every ac service we need in the future.
