Mario and team saved the day. My elderly parents were moving out of a tiny home with few furniture and we all thought it would be easy. Wrong. My mother called me the night before the move and said she gave up. She began emptying her closets, drawers, shed, and her house was now filled with "stuff" she didn't know what to do with. I quickly texted this company to let them know that my parents will need help with packing. They made a quick rearrangement in their schedule so they can devote rest of day to helping my parents. Moved a 2br apt from Seaside to San Juan. They sent a 16 ft cargo van and Nathan and Joel over. I also helped with the move, and we did the entire move and drive in under 2 hours -- even go up a flight of stairs. The rates were really good. I paid $262 and gave a $60 tip. I would have spent half that on just a UHaul. Move went without a hitch. Definitely recommend these guys.

The two young guys who did the job were pleasant people. Late and confused but nice guys.
The damage done costs less than $40 for me to replace but the response when I tried to report it to them was not what I expect from any company. Professional would be the last word I could use to describe this company.
They removed a couch to be given to friend and in the process they broke my thermostat off the wall along with other small issues but they are easy to buff out.
When they were going down the hall, I was behind them. I heard something when it happened but they played it off and replaced the

I've moved three times in the past six months - once within SF and twice between the Bay Area and Carmel. I've experienced a variety of movers that provided various levels of thoroughness.
For this particular move, my movers cancelled on me the day of the move pretty late in the morning, wanting to move me the next day. If you care about your house - walk away (actually run!!) and hire someone else. If you want a bunch of excuses and ruined floors - this moving company is for you!
We had some heavy items to be moved and because they didn't bring enough movers they DRAGGED one of the pieces across the room which resulted in pretty significant damage to the floors. They will tell you if you don't purchase the extended insurance they are not liable for the damage. I'd say if you don't know how to move things maybe you should not be moving them, eh? Seriously, avoid the aggravation and find another

Our family was very impressed by the quality and the respectfulness that the movers demonstrated while moving all of our belongings. Upon their arrival they got straight to work and respectfully checked in with us before moving items and never complained about all of our ridiculous requests. The movers were very fast and efficient. They moved the whole house into storage, went up an elevator repeatedly and never complained. They brought all there supplies to help to help the move run smoothly.
I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone else.

This is the second time I've used Peninsula Pack & Move. But, this move was 3 hrs away and Mario and Joel were very hardworking and never complained even when we got to the new location and the driveway was too steep to pull up to the house so, they hand carried all my belongings even a heavy sleeper sofa up the long steep driveway and were always very polite. Also, very fair pricing. I would definitely recommend this family owned business again!

This moving company showed up on time, which was 9 o'clock on a Monday morning. They were professional and friendly. They did a wonderful job of protecting our furniture and items. They were also mindful of our two dogs. We arrived at our new destination ahead of schedule, which meant that it would not be as expensive as we thought.Our Destiination had 27 steps. These movers never complained and took all of our items respectfully into the house.
I would highly recommend these movers.

-Very kind, hardworking movers. They were patient with my mother who at times was unclear or changed her mind about where she wanted furniture located. I never saw them take a break, other than when I forced them to stop for pizza. They had an excellent attitude, although they weren't the fastest movers I've ever had.
