I was happy with the communication about my car up until the point where I got charged $122 diagnostic fee for a recall notice check up. I brought the vehicle in for a recall notice and had them check the area that was on the recall and they stated that it was not the recall issue at hand so I got charged for a diagnostic fee. Would have liked to have known that I was going to be charged beforehand and I probably would have forgone the diagnostic check and done it myself.

While Milnes wasn't able to 'recreate' the issues I had with my vehicle, Kayla, Ginny, and team went far above expectations by keeping it a couple of extra days and test driving it at various points of the day to make sure. Came here for a work truck repair first go was positive. Second trip not so much and it began falling from there.
I had a vehicle towed there on a Saturday I called to let them know it was just electrical and that should only be a fuse but 3 days later they never even looked at it yet and they stayed cause they don't have a hoist for a big truck that was working at the time. Which made me confused cause you can pop a hood and look at the fuses. Wasn't till I called them back to tell them the exact fuse that was causing the problem that it was fixed so I had to do the work of figuring

The team at Milnes Ford is great! Great family owned local business just over in Lapeer Michigan. What else could you ask for? Convenient service department with loaner vehicles, friendly sales people and managers and they care about you the customer. Plus they have the lowest prices on vehicles. I would tell anybody I could to stay away from this crooked car dealership. Go someplace else - anyplace else - to buy a used car!
My daughter purchased a cheap, used Subaru from Milnes. Less than two weeks later she took the car to a local garage to get the brakes done. the shop refused to touch the car because the frame was disintegrating, and they were concerned that putting any tool to the car would cause a total frame failure.

I bought a used 2014 Ford Edge at Milnes about 2 weeks ago. I had found through a Carfax that the vehicle had been in an accident just prior to Milnes taking ownership of the vehicle. The story I got from them is that someone brought the Edge in for the collision repairs and decided to purchase a new Edge while the repairs were being completed. I was comfortable then that the vehicle had been properly repaired, and I purchased it from them. I noticed after a few days that the inside driver's door panel does not fit right and keeps popping out of place when I try to push it back into place

Terrible customer service salesmen are " too busy" horrible experience each and every time I go there to try and get into a truck, if you don't have great credit don't come here. Don't get help from Jeff Wells either he doesn't answer your calls and takes forever to get back with you will tell you he's too busy and will get to it when he can.

I bought a used 2013 Fusion from this dealership about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It is a very nice car but I have some issues with the way the used car end of the dealership is run. The first time I saw the car and sat inside it, I noticed that the inside of the car was not cleaned very good. The previous owner had smoked, I could tell because there was nicotine residue on the ceiling and visors, really grossed me out.
