The team at First Fence is top-notch. They recently removed our crumbling 17 year old fence and replaced it with a new 6' privacy fence. Before the project, I got quotes from 4 different companies and First Fence's was on the more reasonable side. Between the price and the great warranty, it was a no-brainer for us. When we initially booked the install, they let me know what it could be up to 3 weeks before they could get a crew out (which would have been fine) - but I was pleasantly surprised when they called me just a few days later to let me know they could do it the very next week. First Fence came recommended by someone we have known for a small period of time but he is a builder and we respect him and his business. We had over 130' of fencing to install and First Fence was 100% the right company to call. They installed the fence with 2 8' gates and a 4' gate in just 2 days. It looks amazing and we couldn't be happier. While they were installing my fence, my neighbors went over to get contact information because they were impressed on how good the fence looks. I was looking to get a fairly large amount of privacy fence to help keep a multi-family house of many dogs a bit more secure. I had a really healthy budget, but was very surprised by the quote significantly cheaper than anticipated.
On top of this, they communicated incredibly to get the layout setup and an accurate quote. We made a few changes to add some additional area since the price was incredible. All work was done on schedule and finished fast, which was great because the dogs can now enjoy the yard even more.

I had a 20 year old fence that needed to be replaced. First Fence did an outstanding job. The estimator accepted a competitive bid from another installer and adjusted the cost to win my job. The installers showed up exactly when they said they would and did an excellent job in tearing down/removing the old fence. They then proceeded to build the new fence and knocked it out in short order. They listened to all my inputs about ensuring the bottom was close to the ground to prevent my dogs from escaping. Watching them build the new gates was impressive. They definitely knew what they were doing.

First problem we had was when the crew cut our buried internet cable on the day of installation. They were supposed to deal with contracting ATT for the repairs, but it took 3 days of me calling ATT and first fence before we finally got someone out to lay new cable. Obviously, things happen when digging to install fence posts, so that alone would not be enough to warrant a bad review.
Within a couple weeks of installation, a couple boards showed signs of significant warping. Fast forward to about 8-9 months, and we had enough significantly warped slats and cracked

Great experience overall with the company. When we first had them assess our property for the project, they were easy to schedule and on time. In fact on the same day they came out, another fencing company cancelled their assessment appointment with me because it was raining. First Fence guy didn't mind at all about the rain.
The documentation for the project proposal was well put together and easy enough for me to understand. I appreciate the discount they have available for paying directly with cash or check, which we took advantage of. Even without that discount, First Fence was more affordable

Our fence consultant's name was Derek Byrd. He listened to allof our concerns and answered all of our questions. Once the consultation was finished we received our quote and start date in a timely manner. The gentlemen that came out to do the installation were so kind, professional, and thorough in their work. The Sales Rep who came to the house to give the quote wasn't wearing a mask and didn't keep a 6 foot distance which I didn't appreciate as we are in the midst of a pandemic. He sent the quote very quickly (the next day) via email. After we signed and sent in the deposit electronically, we were contacted within a couple of days to schedule the fence installation. We’ve used first fence of Georgia 2 times for both my house, and a 3rd time at my sisters house. Our first fence was done 2009 still standing still looking great the second 2 year ago at my sisters house and the 3rd time at my new house never had any problems with the work, material. I am not sure where all the negativity is coming form in some of these reviews. I know you can't please everyone but, I guess some people just like to complain. Sad, that some people seem to get joy from being so negative.

Did not have a good experience with this company. The estimator came out on time and provided a quote, quickly. From there, it went down hill. We were badgered by the sales rep, Chris, about our decision. Got a call from someone at First Fence at 8:45pm one night, asking if we had any questions about our quote, after telling Chris, multiple times, we were still getting quotes. I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The workmanship is bad and quality of materials is worse. My post were never aligned 100% since install and just after a year my fence looks horrible. DO NOT be sold on there lifetime workmanship warranty or 10 year warranty. They DO NOT stand behind their workmanship.

The Salesman Russell was very nice and professional. I wanted a somewhat decorative special design fence. He though First Fence could do it, but would need to speak to the owner for approval and help costing it out. It came back about $1,000.00 higher than a typical standard board privacy fence. I really wanted something more upscale than a standard fence and agreed to their price. I paid my deposit and was told it would be about three weeks before installation would start. I used first fence this winter. I researched and quoted 10 different fence companies from home depot to smaller local company and we decided on first fence.
They weren't the cheapest but were very competitive. But the reason I picked them was because they were super courteous and professional. The results were worth every penny.
I will use them for my front lawn maybe next year!

We told them that the main objective of the fence was to keep our dogs in. Literally the day after they finished our large dog pulled apart a section of our chain link fence. Mind you we wanted a higher gauge and were willing to pay for it but the rep that came said it would not be needed. Our smaller dogs started digging under the fence in certain sections and were getting out. We called them and were pretty reasonable and just wanted a solution. Their solution was to put stakes around the perimeter of our fence. They also said that they should have dug the fence into the ground, but we were not

I am giving them 1 star only because I didn't have the option to give them 0! I had a consultation on Monday the 12th. It is now 10pm on the 22nd 10 days later and I still have no quote! I find this absurd that it takes at least 10 days just to find out how much it will cost to have a fence installed! How long will it take to actually install the fence (I wonder)!!!! I can't imagine using this company if they have this much trouble just getting back with me regarding their pricing!

I recently had my 30 year-old fence replaced by First Fence. The job required removal of the old posts, cross boards, wire, gates, as well as removing the old concrete from the holes. Over the years, I have removed single posts and concrete, replacing them with new ones: I know personally what a job it is! I cannot say enough positive about First Fence from beginning to end. The installers did a fantastic job!
We have small dogs so it was important that there not be any gaps under the fence that would encourage them to dig out. We were very impressed that they were not willing to leave until the job was done right!

First Fence installed a wood/wire fence in our back yard and it not only looks amazing, but the quality is very good as well. After the install, which took no more than 1 1/2 days for about half an acre of fence, I went along the posts to check for quality and they were as sturdy and solid as they can get. This was not an easy job for them as my entire back yard slopes down, but they managed to make sure every inch between the fence and ground was accounted for.
