Dishonest dealership. I pre-ordered a car 4 months ago and the sales rep REASSURED me the price would be MSRP. When the car finally arrived, they marked up the car and simply said not sure why the sales rep didn’t tell me about the market adjustment. I decided not to do business here and would not recommend Albany Subaru.

I ordered my new Subaru through the Costco Auto Buying Service. The salesman who took care of me, Don Myers, was extremely professional, and delivered the car on the exact day it was promised. This was 4 months after I ordered it, and amazing feat. In this day of chip shortages and supply chain delays, it was truly a great feat. The dealership never tried to do any sort of bait and switch tactics, and it was a pleasure to deal with them.

We just purchased our first Subaru with Don Myers at Albany Subaru, and can't emphasize enough how seamless the whole experience was for us. We ordered our Crosstrek from Don because he was so responsive, no hassle, and willing to meet us at a reasonable price. We even got our car a month before we expected it to arrive. We test drove another crosstrek at a different dealership and the difference between both were like night and day -- we immediately knew we were in good hands at Albany Subaru.

Highly recommend Albany Subaru! I had a dreadful experience at Oakland Subaru. I walked (actually ran!) away from Oakland Subaru and went directly over to Albany where I was treated with utmost respect and received A+ customer service. I worked with Ricky Riise at the used car lot and ended up with a newer and nicer car for less than Oakland Subaru was offering. They did NOT try and upsell or add accessories/features that I was not interested in. Ricky was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to deliver the car to our house after purchase. Had a great experience with Joel back in May 2021. My previous car had died the week prior, and I didn't want to spend forever looking for a replacement. Scheduling the appointment was super easy (fast response to my online inquiry). Bought the forester 2018 touring limited 2-28-2018 from Don Huey it was easy transaction i was looking for a black and black exterior and interior. Hard to find color!! He got me. That fast. He used to work @ oakland subaru and dale I bought my first Subaru 5 door Impreza hatchback limited back in 2014 i had a good price on it too. Before we even walked through the doors, we called ahead to get more information about the car we were interested in and got into contact with Dale. He was so patient and explained everything with honesty and reassurance. Don Myers is great to work with. He is straightforward, honest, and most importantly, listened carefully and heard and respected what I said I did and did not want. No pressure to add on anything that I was not interested in - what a huge relief it was to find him after trying to work with sales people at other dealerships. No pressure, no frustration, no sketchy sales “techniques”. Also, he is a great person who is an absolute pleasure to work with. He and his manager Don got me through the paperwork quickly and painlessly. You will not regret working with him.

I've been shopping for a new car for about one week, most of the dealer's quotes have 3k to 5k market adjustment prices, they will tell you it's ok to pay for a high price due to the chips shortage. These dealers are taking advantage of the situation to make extra money from the consumer.

I had a very unpleasant time at this dealership yesterday on 7/24. I walked in at (or around) 10:30. The receptionist greeted me and stated that some would be with us in a minute. As she paged the employees, 3 seperate sales reps walked out. The first two gentlemen (who were the closest to the front desk), took one look at us and turn around. Don Myers is amaze balls he should have his own toilet paper tissue because he's the S#!*! I love the outdoors so when it was time to purchase a new car I knew I wanted an Outback Wilderness! When I received an email to pre-order I added my info and selected the closest Subaru dealership. When I didn't get a response I did it again but choose another dealership. Which they contacted me wanting to sell me with what they had in stock. I kindly reminded them that I was only interested in the new Outback Wilderness trim. Bought my first used vehicle from them. They allowed me to take my time. Cleaned the car well before delivery. After the sale we found a blown headlight and they made an appointment with the service center and had both headlights replaced for free. Excellent service and sense of customer service.

One of the better car buying experiences I've had and I've had a few. Don Huey was very helpful and worked his tail off to get me the financing I wanted. My experience at this Subaru location was amazing. They have signs that say to keep 6 ft apart, they provide hand sanitizers everywhere and made the place feel like we weren't living in a pandemic.
My fiancé and I got to work with Louis who helped us was great despite it being his fourth day at this job. He knew a lot of information that made it seem like he worked there longer than he said he did, he was patient with us, understood what I wanted in a car and despite us being there later than closing time he stayed with us. He ensured that we got all the information needed
