Ben with Door Works serviced our house today. He came exactly when expected, wore a mask, was polite, fast, and kind. My dog escaped while I was chatting with Ben, and Ben helped me bring her back, with the leash that he had in his truck. I am so very grateful. The two doors he fixed now work great. We will be using Door Works again.

If I had more time in my life, I'd take this to small claims court.
We hired Door Works to help with our front door that wasn't closing correctly. Ben came out and he was really nice. He worked on the door and right when he left, we realized it still wasn't fixed, still wasn't latching. We called him to come back the next day and he tried to fix it again.
As the weather got warmer a couple weeks after that, the door wasn't sticking closed at all and was bouncing open. I wrote Patrick and he said he'd send Ben back out in a month, which was the earliest available

I waited for an estimate for 6 weeks. The day of the visit "Ben" said he wanted to change the estimate day.I said ok. We changed for another day, When he finally showed up he checked and discussed the project with me.He said he was going to send me the estimate the next day. I never heard from the Door Works Co Again!. It has been 2 month now.

We just had an interior door installed by Adam....we love it. The door quality is excellent and Adam was extremely meticulous in the installation. He wore a mask the entire time and was very respectful of the need for social distance. Given the situation with Covid, it took a little extra effort and patience during the ordering process...but it was well worth the wait to get our beautiful door installed.

Wow! Incredible service! This morning I opened my front door and it would not close. We live in an old 1920s era house with a very heavy door that simply would not close. I tried everything I could think of, but it was just off kilter. On a Sunday within a few hours of me calling, the guys from Door Works stopped by and fixed it within just a few minutes. They were very professional. I tried to pay them and they wouldn't accept it. Said they were nearby and it only took a few minutes. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could and I will definitely hire them for any door or window work!

Had a recent break-in attempt and wanted to get my door repaired. I have two very small children so this is obviously a nervous time. The people at the Door Works are very nice to talk to when you can get a hold of them. However every single time they promised a return call (sometimes supposedly immediately right back) there would be nothing for days. I would then have to call back, and would get some other excuse or delay story. Always a polite conversation on both parts. Just bought a huge and elaborate home in Portland built about 20 years ago. Has a ton of tall, high-end doors wit heavy glass. All the exterior doors had various problems and were not closing properly.
Got their name from a contractor friend. Called them. I believe it was Patrick who answered the phone. Was patient with my stupid questions and scheduled Adam to come out a couple days later.
On the appointed day, Adam called and politely asked if he could come early, if you can believe that. Blew through six sets of heavy double exterior doors in much less time than I thought it would take. I

I have used Door Works twice and they are extremely competent, efficient, and pleasant to work with. Jeremy just came out to re-key 3 doors and fix a doorknob on a door that had been installed incorrectly. He truly is a craftsman and explains everything that needs to be done very clearly. Super nice guy, got everything done in a little over an hour!

Super slow to respond and work was majorly delayed due to their inability to respond. -- I had them replace four interior doors and two sets of bifold closet doors. They came out to provide a quote in early January, which I had to take off from work to accommodate their schedule since they don't do anything outside of 8-5 Monday-Friday. Took forever to return calls, couldn't provide dates of when the orders were placed, couldn't provide expected arrival dates for when they would have the doors in stock. Literally dozens of emails and calls giving me the run around with no attempt

I hired The Door Works to replace 20 entry doors on an apartment building. From the beginning, the entire team proved to be very professional. Pete took great pains to ensure we made informed decisions regarding door design and features. He also measured every single door, thus making the order for new doors accurate and guaranteeing a weathertight fit. The work was also completed timely, with the doors arriving one week and the install beginning the very next. This company is busy! And for a reason. They are FANTASTIC! They also saved me a lot of money, time and pain. Just had Jeremy transition my Marvin 3 pt. lock door to my Air BNB to a keyless entry. He did this in about two hours. He was smart, kind and ingenious.
My new Schlage Connect keyless locks works perfectly and looks great.

Will never do business with this company again
I asked for them to come out and see if my door could be replaced due to the lock malfunctioning. They came out tried to fix the lock and rekeyed it. It worked for about 12 hours.......
I called to have them fix it, and no one returned any calls or texts made
When I physically came in to inquire about it not only did I get told to call to make another appointment.... .No one could tell me why my calls and texts were never returned
All I wanted was the measurements that were taken at this point

Do Not Hire them. They were a referral from my mom who said they did good work. But for us ....Several no shows and missed appointments. Said they would comeback to finish our door project and never showed up. its now been two weeks. No returned calls, even after we spoke to someone in the office. Do Not Hire them !!!!!!

We needed our side door replaced after a break-in that trashed it. Our neighbor Don, a retired construction pro, recommended Door Works; he said he'd never used the company, but had seen one of their vans in the neighborhood, peered inside, and was impressed by the quality and organization of the tools.
A Door Works guy appeared the same day that I called. Two weeks later, the same fellow did the custom installation work. A seasoned craftsman, who clearly enjoyed his work and took pride in the results. Provided a new lock and re-keyed it on site. The door is exactly what we asked for
