The experience has been a rollercoaster...not a fun one. Of course, everything started off great...then they received our money. They have promised repair and replacements, and I have yet to hear back about ANY of it. It has been two months! I am going to allow them the final 30 days to follow up and adhere. I will be back to follow up on this review‼

We got a response approx. a week ago.
The superintendent assigned to our neighborhood came by to take a look at the problematic areas, as a result of poor workmanship, which should have been properly managed and overseen throughout

We closed on March 27, 2020, and nothing from opening walkthrough to now has been fixed. We have poor craftsmanship, split wood in the walls, cheap carpet, water damage from a flood in September 2020, in the kitchen. Also a garage that leaks with every rain. This has been the worst experience ever from Finer Homes.

It's a shame this company has so much internal miscommunication problems. They build a nice product at a reasonable price but they do not stand behind their product we have black tar dripping down two sides of the house that is only two and a half years old in the excuse we get is that it is weather stripping it's leaking all over the hardboard glue that will not come off. The only house in the entire bacova subdivision with black tar running down it.

First and foremost we love customer service and that's exactly what we have received. Initially we entered the neighborhood want to see the model from another builder, they were closed so we took a flyer on Finer homes from the time we walked in the service was amazing. We loved the design and style of the home so we signed and the whole process was great as we never had a home built before. There was constant contact with the builder even after we moved in. The reason I would refer Finer homes to anyone is the following experience we had:

Cathy Mueller, personally, made our entire experience worthwhile. We were in the market to purchase our first home... and without looking at any resales, my wife and I decided just to go to a random Open House in which we were passing by only in discussions. Turns out, that first open house we went to was a Magnolia Model in which Cathy was sitting. Her smile, her warmth, her honesty, her heart... I can go on and on to describe this lady. She was truly the person who had us walking out of that open house saying, "I think we found our house." We didn't look into any resales, and just simply decided
