I bought a portable dishwasher and was told it would be installed after being dropped off. The total price was $723 with delivery included. When the delivery men arrived they were rude to me. They dropped the machine off and I asked them to please hook it up. John, the man who was delivering it said "I'll do it but can't come over every single time you need to do your dishes". We went to Sclamo because we like to shop local businesses rather than the big box stores whenever possible. Bad choice in this case. We bought a refrigerator that was supposed to have an ice maker installed. It was delivered with the ice maker in a box. We had to chase them for days to get them to send someone to install it. The owner griped, "What do you want, at least you've got a working refrigerator." (The one we replaced worked and had an ice maker). More than once they scheduled to come and didn't show up. I was in dire need of a new clothes dryer today because my wife works in Boston as a nurse, and comes home with contaminated clothing!! I called Sclamo's and spoke to Peter who was so understanding about the situation during this virus outbreak, he had a brand new commercial grade dryer in my house installed in two hours!!! Worse customer service, spend your money elsewhere. I'm not one to speak badly about a business at all. The owner is very rude and doesn't care about the service they provide to people. A tenant of mine purchased a laundry set from Sclamo. Not only did it not work but the tech who installed the washing machine cross threaded the line which caused a flood in my home damaging two floors. When I reached out to come to a resolution the owner had an attitude and said " not my problem I don't deal with that" didn't even take the time to hear me out. Stay away at all costs

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Mostly unreliable information. The owner couldnt care less about the people spending their hard earned money there.Hes condescending amd rude aside from being completely no help!!Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere competent enough to keep records and not pass you around to unavailable staff when its clear they could help you if they wanted to!!!Awful experience i am just glad i didnt go back as planned before this completely unnecessary debacle. The only thing they were effective at was taking our $3000.

Call the store needed a new fridge spoke with Peter he said no problem come on down and will take care of you. I was in the store a total of maybe 15 minutes and Peter had gotten me a fridge that was my size and in my price range with no problem. He knew I had an issue with getting my old fridge out the door because of a small strip of weatherstripping. Absolutely loved my king size bed I ordered. Had a few issues though so ultimately I wouldn't recommend this place. One when we ordered it seemed the kind of bed where you didn't need a box spring and when it was delivered the guy said we didn't. So they got here to deliver it and realize they didn't have the right tools so they had to run to the hardware store...no problem. They got back and started putting it together and I guess one of the guys messed up and ruined the headboard. Local and family owned business that has been around for years. Had a smooth purchase and delivery experience. Free delivery locally. I got a great used washer and dryer for my apartment. They came and set both up and made sure they were working properly. The used appliances came with a 90 day warranty. Worth checking out if you are looking for good used appliances or any new furniture/appliance needs.

Wish I could give negative stars!!! Owner is the shadiest and most disrespectful person ever. Bought a bed and was delivered damaged. When we called he said it's not his fault. Umm it is and needed to be rectified. He brought us a new bed so he said 4 days after and that's smashed too. He didn't want to make it right instead he wanted to scream at us and state he's right!! Beware he is horrible!!! Do not buy things from here!

Went there today to purchase a washer and dryer, helpful salesman, no high pressure, and the best part was the guy was willing to deal on the prices. I mentioned I was also in the market for a dishwasher and what a package deal they put together! Got all brand new Maytag appliances for an amazing price! Couldn't be happier!

I stopped in yesterday to look at accent chairs in Millbury store. I looked around and was just about leaving when the sales lady just about tackled me and started trying to get me to look at pictures of chairs she could order. I repeated i was just looking, but that didn't stop her..

Buyer beware. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and do not buy anything from this place. The owner was rude, rude, rude. Had several problems with the brand new appliances that I purchased. I wish I went to Home Depot, that's sad within itself. I can't even state how rude this man was to me, to not even replace the broken dishwasher, wow stay away go anywhere else but here. More people should write how they feel maybe he wouldn't be in business for 35 years.

Very disappointed with parts that I brought for my stove. They were stovetop grates that I brought and were painted by Sclamos. When I got home and started to cook on them the paint immediately became soft and started to run and they started to turn off yellow color I could also smell the burning paint which is a little troubling as I have an infant in the house. I brought them back to the store they said they would repaint them which was what I needed. So I had to make another trip back to the store to pick them up. I once again cooked on them and the same thing is starting to happen! The stove

My friend just had a Horrible experience there and has been going on for weeks now. Didn't deliver her kitchen set with the rest of her furniture and said they couldn't find where it went. Really?? So they gave her another to use while they try to "find" the other one. She hates it and so do I so they told her her old set would be in in July. Too late and too many people there each trying to blame one another. She demanded they come get it and give her her money back, so finally the end is near and she found a better set, cheaper , down the street at another Furniture Store

Sclamo's has some of the best customer service I've ever dealt with. I bought a fridge from them about a month ago (a beautiful stainless steel side by side Fridgidaire for only $275, refurbished - retails brand new for $2,000) and the man who helped us, Jamie, was extremely personable and helpful. He had us explain what we were looking for rather than steer us towards what he wanted to sell, and even dropped the price of the one we really wanted. He was also very knowledgeable about what they sell - no pushiness or sketchiness. We were also very happy to learn their refurbished items
