Services
Unlike other solar systems that have separate warranties from each component manufacturer, you get one all-encompassing warranty with BVI Solar. Our 25 year warranty backed by CertainTeed, covers all system components. In addition, the professional installation and workmanship of your system that BVI offers, are also covered for up to 25 years.
BVI Solar works with all types of solar panels and has installed a variety of brands including: LG, Q-Cells, CertainTeed, Panasonic, Silfab, Jinko, and REC. All the panels we offer include a 25-year performance warranty and are coupled with Enphase Micro-inverters. This allows for panel-level monitoring and ensures a bumper-to-bumper 25-year warranty on all system components.
BVI Solar uses the Certainteed Solar Shingles - Apollo II - to install solar on asphalt shingle roofs. These units are installed the same way asphalt shingles are installed, directly onto the roof sheathing using standard deck screws. Lightweight: weighs about as many pounds per square foot as a typical asphalt shingle roof.
BVI Solar installs CertainTeed's Apollo Tile II Solar Roofing System. The Apollo Tile II is a high-efficiency solar tile designed for integration with most tile roofs. Lightweight: weighs significantly less than a tile roof eliminating the need for structural review or reinforcement. Aesthetic: Brown (frame); black (cells) on black (backsheet) provides a greater aesthetic and visually blends with most concrete tile colors.
BVI Solar's choice of solar battery storage systems are the Enphase Encharge Battery systems. These units are built with the SAFEST materials available and designed to provide energy during high peak times of day as well as in the event of a grid outage. Adding storage to your home will help to protect from grid rate hikes and future NEM changes.

The entire team had great communication with the process, timeline, next steps, and any barriers we might encounter during the entire process. Once we set an installation date the building team was very professional and punctual. I never had any issues having any of my questions answered (which there was a lot of!) definitely recommend!

Extremely happy with BVI. Expectations were met on time and under budget! We're so happy to have gotten our new roof and solar panels at the same time. There was constant communication, and Tyler the owner made sure every promise was met. He came on site several times, and even took us up on the roof to show us a few things. The crews all delivered. These guys work hard and are all pleasant to deal with. We're so happy with the result and would recommend BVI to anyone considering a solar roof.

Our salesman Chase was great, personable and honest he saw us through the entire process from step to step. We also appreciated that he was easy to contact when we had questions. The entire process to get up and running was about 8 weeks. The workers were good and respectful. We had an issue which needed management and Ruben was quick and thorough to follow through with us. I would recommend them.

BVI Solar did an excellent job with our roof and solar installation. The Alpha roofers( Jose the owner) were very punctual and explained thoroughly what they were doing and showed me what repairs they were making. The solar installers Daniel and Sain were also very thorough and explained everything they were doing and were very efficient and knowledgeable. Answered all of our questions, very professional and courteous.

I recently started looking into getting a battery backup system to add to my existing solar panel system and contacted BVI for more information and an estimate. I was lucky enough to get in contact with Ted who was very helpful, patient, responsive, and informative. I didn't end up going with BVI because their proposal cost 30% more than the company I chose, so I did them the courtesy of letting them know we were going with another company. This was their response:
"Sorry to hear that, it's a mistake that I hope won't be too costly. Without our warranty you have all the risk when the installer goes out of business. The average life of a Solar company in California is about 5 years. Good luck risk takers.

We had a wonderful experience with BVI. After we were approved for financing, someone was at our house surveying within just a week. We were updated regularly about the permitting and when to expect the installation to take place. After it was installed, it passed the inspection the very next day. We received multiple quotes for solar and took our time finding the right company. I am glad we did because BVI went above and beyond to take care of us!

Let's just say from start of having my first conversation with Rudith Akorli, Energy Advisor who was just farming the neighborhood and I just happened to be outside. Ask me a couple of questions. I had almost committed to another company. But she was very smart and being a retired Marine I was very cautious about getting solar panels on my home. She supported everything she said and backed it up. From the inspection to the install everything was just fantastic and I would refer them to anyone who is looking to get solar. Win win!

I have had a great experience with BVI Solar. The sales portion of the job went very smoothly and they set up the financing which was all done online with a great interest rate. Once I signed on the line the design phase went very fast. They respected my requests on how I wanted the cells laid out and the engineering was done in a few weeks. They took care of the permit and kept in contact with me so I was up to date with the progress. During the site survey process I found out BVI acts as the general contractor and subs the actual installation to another company, at least where I live since

Do not use this company. I am a certified electrician and had a horrible experience with them.
They sub out the actual work and the contractor that they use Solar is as bad as they come with respect to workmanship and performance. They used long screws making holes in my roof and ceiling. They left my panel with loose wires connections causing single phasing. Showed up late with only half of the materials. Then to add insult to injury, BVI called me to yell at me cause I would not sign until I see the system run. I give them two stars cause they started well, and finished horribly. Lack of respect

Our solar panels were installed by Zero Energy and once I found out BVI had taken over that company's customers I have had nothing but great customer service. We have not had a full billing yet from the power company yet are aware the system is producing great. I highly recommend BVI for their professionalism and great customer service. It is always nice to actually speak to someone who is knowledgeable to answer any questions I have had so far, especially since we are new to solar. If you are thinking of solar, I highly recommend BVI.
