I wanted to thank you for helping us with the driveway fencing at our new apartment complex in Gladstone. You and Pacific Fence actively engaged my project issues and worked within my extremely tight scheduling constraints, when other fencing companies were unwilling to even discuss it with me. You beat your competitors in customer service, and pricing arena as well.
We install chain link, wood, farm fence, decorative metal, vinyl, as well as specialty projects like backstops, dog runs, and sports facilities. The property owner is responsible for knowing their property's zoning code and pulling permits as required by law. We had Pacific Fence & Wire custom build us a large chain link gate. This was a dual swing 9' per side 6' high gate system for our beach property. The quality of the gate and materials used is excellent and we are very happy with the work they did.
The folks that work in the yard, that I dealt with during pickup were top notch. Super friendly, loaded everything into the trailer for me and were happy to help.
Lost a star because the process between "I gave my money" and "product being ready" was pretty weak communication, often emails went un-responded to. This would not prevent me from using

My husband and son have been looking around town for chain link fencing. We know it’s the season for building and repairing and with the pandemic we are very aware supplies are limited. He was prepared to leave empty handed but instead left knowing he would recommend you guys to anyone. You had no idea but my husband never takes a day off of work and most certainly doesn’t do it on his birthday. But he did yesterday and you made his day! I waited over a month to hear back from them after they came to look at the project. After I called they finally got ahold of me via email after I called, they emailed me to let know they would not be giving me a quote. Which is no big deal it is a large project. But I wish they would have let me know either at the time they came out or within a few weeks. I found this to be very unprofessional and would not be going back to them for ANY projects

I had the same experience than the one posted by Christine D. I called Pacific Fence for an estimate, Frank came to do it. I waited 2 weeks, then I called the company and left a message on Frank's phone; it has been over a month. He never called! What a waste of my time. I wished he would have been honest and tell me then that he didn't want to do the job. Not a serious company to work with, for sure.

Great company. Needed to fence our property with a combination of chain link fence, decorative fence, and white vinyl fencing. Got several bids. Pacific Fence and Wire was one of them. Not the cheapest but people who work for this company are great, personable and are not slimy salespeople. Had a good looking fence ready in 10 days. It has been over 1 year and the fence looks and works great.

Had Frank come out for an estimate, which he told me would take one week max to receive. It has been 17 days and I have had no further communication with anyone in the company. I called today and talked to Frank directly and he assured me that he would get to the root of the problem and call me back the same day to let me know what went wrong. I never heard from him. I'm sure this company can build fences, but if you want a company you can communicate openly and honestly with, look elsewhere.

I should add that I used Pacific Fence again when another of my old fences fell down. The crew were on time, quick, friendly, and efficient. They took away all the old fence debris, leaving no trace of it behind. I am most impressed with the gates--both of them really rugged and they open and latch closed every time with ease. I'm very satisfied.

I just want to take a second to acknowledge the good people at Pacific Fence & Wire Company. In the past few months we have had a rash of break-ins at our business where the intruders cut through our chain link fence and left gaping holes where they could crawl in and out and remove materials from our property. On one occasion, they stole one of our locked-up vehicles and drove the vehicle through our 19 ft chain link gate. When we arrived at work the following morning, our gate was completely separated from the fence and was laying in the middle of the street due to the impact

I can't tell you how their fencing construction was because I never got that far. The job Manager (Randy: the person that was suppose to do the bid) never finished the job. It was over 6 weeks of trying and him telling me 5 times he would email the bid that day, over 2 weeks, that didn't happen. In the beginning he told me they were 2 weeks out to do the job once the bid was accepted. I needed a small fencing job done on the front of my property. Eventually, it was done, and it looks nice.
Good stuff:
Bid came in well under another, with a promise of quicker installment.
When the guy who did the fence showed up, he did show up on time, and did a good job installing the fence, with attention to details like making sure it was level to the ground to keep the dog in, and that the gates opened the correct way. It looks good.
Not so good:
Abysmal communication. I had to essentially chase my service rep to deal with questions on basics, and generally received terse, poorly

We used Pacific Fence to install approximately 270' of fencing and three gates in our backyard with 6' cedar on the front and sides with steel posts and 6' black chain link (didn't want to obstruct our view) in the back.
We didn't immediately move to Oregon when we bought our house, so we had to coordinate getting quotes from contractors to align with when we did weekend visits from out of state. We appreciated that the sales guy from Pacific Fence was willing to come out and give us a quote on a Saturday when we were in town. Only one other fencing company was willing

Absolute terrible customer service! Every time there was a concern or question my neighbor and myself who were both having jobs done, would have to leave multiple voicemails and emails and wait a week till they got back to us (project mgr John). They broke an irrigation pipe in my other neighbors property and told me tough luck when I notified them, that it was common and "in the fine print". I wrote a letter to their mgmt explaining my month of terrible service and got no reply. My neighbor had to really threaten them till they actually repaired their damage. The physical fence came

These guys are great! Showed up early for every appointment, responded to emails and phone calls quickly, and had great suggestions. We had 82' x 5' black chain link fencing installed (on slightly sloping property), with (1) 10x5 swing gate and a regular 4' x 5' gate. Looks fantastic! We love it! Thanks!
