Vintage Mill Werks is proud of our heritage and we are a fourth generation family owned and operated woodworking facility Hand Crafting 100% Solid Wood Furniture one piece at a time in the fashion of a by-gone era. All of VMW pieces are Bench Made from Old Growth and Salvaged Timbers and all of our manufacturing principals center around sustainable and environmentally healthy practices.
Vintage Mill Werks crafts its furniture from Old Growth Douglas Fir, and Salvaged Pine. All VMW's materials are responsibly sourced, Sustainable and FSC Certified Wood. We work closely with suppliers who specialized in Old Growth timber collected from Dead & Fallen Timber from the Pacific North West.

We were told our table was shipped beginning of October. It’s December 17th now and still no table. Everytime we contact the company they say it’s the shipping companies fault. Maybe. But they are not offering to do anything about it. They blame the shipping company and have offered nothing to fix it. Every week it’s... next week it will arrive. No table ever arrives. This week was hey your table will get delivered today be home (without any notice) my husband had to cancel all work calls last minute to stay home. No table ever arrived!! Just received my kitchen island today. It’s absolutely gorgeous! The quality of the craftsmanship is outstanding. Honestly can’t get over how beautiful it is. Ordered table in June, paid in full, was given a 10 week lead time for our new farmhouse table and benches. 22 weeks later no table, no benches, dropped $4k on this and regret ever ordering from this company. Do yourself a huge favor and read the reviews online. I don’t care about the wood shortage or their shipping excuses - they should not be taking orders they cannot handle or fulfill - seems like a very shady business operation.

I ordered a Devonshire dining table on February 26. Their website says they take PayPal, but when I tried to use PayPal I was told they’re “working on setting it up” but they don’t actually take it. Because of the extremely long quoted lead time, I wanted the safety of PayPal credit so I would not have the full price plus shipping due on my credit… card weeks before the ship date. With some misgivings, I used my credit card. They immediately, that day, put the full amount through on my credit card. I’m not certain that’s legal; it certainly isn’t

I was very excited about being able to pick out the piece of furniture and the finish. It arrived over 2 months late to begin with. I overlooked that as I didn’t want to rush them, and not get a quality piece of furniture. When I contacted them they referred me to their terms and conditions, which I felt was open to interpretation. I knew I was… going receive a rustic finish, with the possibility of some nails showing and knotholes, however, what I didn’t know that there were going to be a lot of nails. I just received my table and bench from vintage and must say that this has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture we’ve purchased. The quality and craftsmanship in these pieces are exceptional. We are very pleased with the pieces we received and will be buying more. My family all and highly recommend them.

I wanted to change the finish on my order. Karen and Carrie were both so very helpful, and sent me many pictures of previous built furniture in the different finishes so I could choose the one that I liked the most. They were really responsive and and answered all my questions. Super excited to receive my final purchase, but wanted to give Karen and Carrie props for their extra effort in helping me out.

Very disappointed with the quality and finish of my item- varnish streaks were all over my piece and an obvious crack in the leg. They would not be help in correcting any of the problems. The craftsmanship was very poor and not worth the high price they are charging. Do not buy from them! Quality is comparable to a cheap wayfair piece you can get much much cheaper

I'm an interior designer and regularly work with all sorts of furniture manufacturers and custom furniture makers.
I ordered a table for 1,844.00 on November 30, 2020, at which point my payment was received in full. The product page, as seen in the below screenshot, noted that all items were made to order in 8-10 weeks. No indication was made that lead times would be longer than usual before or after I ordered.
I followed up in 4 weeks to get a ship date estimate, and was given a vague answer that production was still "a ways

I'm conflicted between recommending Vintage Millwerks or not. Here's why...I ordered a table at the beginning of October and shortly after asked if I could have extensions added to the order. The customer service person was very nice and helpful via email during this time. The website said the turn around time was approximately 6 weeks, so I… figured I wouldn't have it for Thanksgiving but was excited to have it for Christmas dinner with my whole family. I received no updates on the status of my table during or after the 6 weeks had passed. I emailed to inquire on the status and was told

Had a custom size entertainment center built and the everything was great from start to finish! They even suggested that I measure in different places because ceilings aren't always level.... thank God i did! My ceiling is an inch shorter in the right corner. Was able to save a lot of money and frustration by getting it right the first time! They were also about $600 lower than local quotes even after shipping is factored in. Takes time to get so order in advance. This is all hand made! If I ever need a custom piece again, this is the first place I'm coming back to! Thanks.
