Unbelievably bad: of 4 items ordered from out-of-state furniture stores, they lost one item, stated they were delivering my sofa (so I gave my old one away), but delivered dining room chairs instead, lost the power cord to my power reclining sofa, and tried to get me to sign for delivery that wasn't delivered.

My move with Kloke was almost two years ago, but I decided to come and leave a review after our bed broke one night, due to improper assembly when they set it up. Instead of completely screwing in a portion of the bed frame, the mover in charge of assembling the bed, simply screwed in the center screw in the three available holes. This caused the center portion of the frame to break at about midnight, just as my wife and I were going to bed. I know this to be a matter of improper assembly because after our move, I had to email Kloke to complain about a lack of care on several pieces of furniture

Very disappointed with this company. They packed items that were not authorized to be packed (opened bottles of liquids) and also packed items which I had set aside and told them wasn't to pack, including my car keys. Only one crew member out of the team of 7 spoke English and the others said yes when spoken to, yet did not understand what was being said to them. Very aggravating.
When they delivered my items, I asked them to unpack the boxes. The driver acted like he didn't understand and then said unpacking was not included. This was not my first time moving with the military. Unpacking

My Kloke Group Experts were exactly that! They moved precious, one of a kind furniture for me with tremendous care and respect. Although I know this furniture was heavy, these gentlemen smiled and professionally worked together as a team to ensure a successful outcome.

I had a very pleasant experience, all around, with these movers. The military contracted them to move my household goods from my apartment to my recently purchased house. The customer service rep, Sunny, was very polite and took all of my questions/phone calls without issue. The crew, Jody, Scottx2, and Danny, were all very nice and took great care with packing and moving my belongings. I'm not sure why this company has bad reviews; maybe under previous management. I'd recommend them to any military personnel looking to move.

If I could give them no stars I would. There are far better moving companies around. When packing our goods, they rushed and broke items, didn't complete the tagging on our items, and didn't tag high value items either. They also stole my husband's 2 good headphones. Their claims process wanted to weasel out of everything!

The movers were incompetent, careless, and lazy. Our wardrobe boxes were broken and beyond repair upon their arrival to our new home. Others boxes containing books were flooded with water resulting in destruction of the contents because of mold damage. We filed a claim and were told that the contents would not be covered because "normal wear and tear" isn't covered. I recommend you go with another moving company.

They lied about when they would arrive (scheduled to arrive between 8-10 but didn't til 3),
They lied about the condition of my furniture (when confronted, said "I'm only doing my job..." sounds like policy to me)
They lied about how long the job would take (supposed to be done at 5, but was actually 8),
They lied about how many men would be used to do the loading (said 4, only had 2),
They lied about when my delivery would arrive, saying it was arriving on July 3rd. UPDATE: It is now the 12th of July, and my stuff has not yet reached

We have used United a couple times before from other states and had wonderful experience so we wanted to go with them again. Unfortunately with this group in northern Virginia we were disappointed. We had an amazing driver, however when they showed up at our new location they failed to communicate and hire movers to move all of our stuff in. Nearly an impossible task for one person to do.It was an okay experience but a little stressful at the end.

Moving can be a very stressful experience. The Kloke Group took the stress away and made this the easiest move I've ever had. Everyone was very professional, kind, and went beyond the call of duty to take care of everything. I felt like my family was moving me. I had a very good experience with Kloke Group on every step. The person who completed the estimate was actually early and called me to confirm the day before the appointment as well as 30 minutes before the appointment. The movers who moved me out of my apartment in DC were very nice and efficient, and I felt very comfortable with them which is not always the case as a single woman. My things arrived within the timeframe that was given to me, and the move coordinator kept me updated throughout the move. The movers who unpacked my things into my storage unit were great and were able to get everything

Because I can't score them any lower. Ran across the driver of this truck a few weeks ago on the North side of 14th Street bridge in DC. First became aware of this exemplary employee when he pulled alongside my car and proceeded to unleash every raciest rant he could think of. He stopped long enough to use his extensive vocabulary of every cuss word he had in learned. All of this in early Monday morning bumper to bumper traffic. Not sure what happened to cause such a great interaction with him. At one point he actually started to unbuckle his belt and open his door when for some reason

Kloke packed and moved us for a local move in the DC area. 6 months prior, we had moved from overseas so we had just packed/unpacked most of our belongings.
The 2 people who packed us did an alright job. One was 7 months pregnant and the other had a visible leg injury. They left early and didn't finish up as much packing as I anticipated them doing. Just moved from DC to the southwest and couldn't have been happier. The estimator, the office manager, and the driver who both picked up and delivered were all exceptionally attentive. The actual movers were METICULOUSLY careful with all our stuff, including art works, thousands of books, and the usual family property. Best move I've ever had.

I used Kloke on my move from Indiana to the DC metro area. My employer paid for this move, so I can't comment too much on the price and the comparison of this service to other vendors, but I can say that Kloke did a great job. 'Donna' was my moving coordinator and she was very prompt in returning my calls, working with me to schedule my move and making sure things worked out. The only complaint I have is the choice of company Kloke used to pack my things
