Furniture Medic did a great job for us! We had water damage in our kitchen and we needed to remove some lower cabinets to dry the walls behind the cabinets and replace the drywall. Furniture Medic was able to remove the cabinets and use supports for the quartz counters during the repairs, and then customize and replace the cabinets after the repairs without damaging the countertops.
If you need to remove and reinstall lower cabinets and don't want to replace your countertops in the process, I highly recommend Furniture Medic. They're on the expensive side, and it was hard to get on

I give up. I've given these people several chances at correcting their mistakes and it's time to warn others about what can happen when you work with this company. It's a long story, the short version is this: if you have e.g. a water leak and want your cabinets taken out AND put back in, go with someone else!

Our kitchen experienced a water leakage, and the mitigation company had to remove some of our kitchen cabinets and ended up damaging some parts of it. So our insurance sent Furniture Medic to perform the repairs and installation on our cabinets. Our cabinets are custom, and they did a fantastic job on restoring our cabinets. It looks like nothing has ever happened! George and Peter were punctual, professional, clean, extremely friendly, and very pleasant to work with. The company as a whole was also very responsive. I highly recommend Furniture Medic and would definitely use them again in the future

A leak in my refrigerator ice maker resulted in water damage to all my lower kitchen cabinets. Fortunately, I was referred to Furniture Medic and they did an outstanding job restoring the cabinets. They made new boxes, refinished the wood faces and then did the installation. The boxes were high quality both in terms of material and workmanship in their construction. The refinished cabinets look better than the cabinets that were not damaged by the water! If you like your current kitchen cabinets and/or don't want to spend the $$$ on a new kitchen, this is a great choice!

We had a flood in our kitchen when a hot water line broke. One thing that I learned quickly was that in addition to the hassle of the flooding, a homeowner suddenly becomes a general contractor, navigating workers and scheduling and everything else. I found that Jason and his team - Jack, Nikolay, and Ondyhrea - were really on top of things. The communication with the company, including the scheduler Andrea, was good all the way around, and they did a beautiful job rebuilding the destroyed cabinets.

Great work ethics, amazing skill set, 5 stars all the way. It's not that easy nowadays to find true professionals with expertise that goes above and beyond the area of cabinetry and furniture. Our project was quite tricky due to the mold damage, and involved the removal of custom made top of the line kitchen cabinets and putting them back together afterwards. We had some major water damage back in April that required a built in cabinet and all our baseboard in our living room to be replaced and matched with existing baseboard. The team at Furniture Medic is amazing. They surgically removed a built in cabinet, rebuilt it and then surgically put it back in place. The wood, the stain all matched perfectly. Because of a broken water pipe behind our custom kitchen cabinets, we needed to have a few of our cabinets removed in order to replace the wet sheetrock that was behind them. In order to avoid having to disturb the granite countertop that was on top of these cabinets, Mark and his team was able to remove the cabinet but leave the granite in place. After replacing the sheetrock, they essentially rebuilt the cabinet underneath the granite. I was so impressed with what they were able to accomplish (in relatively short time) I had them take all my cabinet doors and drawer faces and refresh them. Everything

I had water damage behind my bar countertop. Instead of ripping out the entire cabinet and countertop, I opted for Furniture Medic to help just remove the lower cabinet so that the water-logged drywall behind it can be repaired. Our general contractor, Cardinal Construction in Pleasanton, used Furniture Medic to rebuild our kitchen cabinets that were ruined by a burst water pipe. Furniture Medic did a beautiful job! They performed exactly to schedule even with a holiday weekend in between when they picked up the face frames and when they came back to install the newly constructed cabinets.

We had multiple things that needed fixing, including a gouge in a cabinet, refinishing the top of dresser, and scratches on several other pieces of furniture. Furniture Medic did an outstanding job. The work was so professional, that I couldn't tell where the original scratches were. I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Jessica was very courteous in getting me an estimate and setting up the appointment. Magda is very skilled in her work on the furniture. After I used an abrasive material to clean my conference room table at work, I wasn't sure how quickly I could fix the marks. Al Rosales did a site visit and was very honest about the rates and the work that needed to be done on the table. After a small scheduling mix-up, he was able to reschedule a new crew to come in 2 days later. The technicians advised me about which products to use for future cleanings. If zero stars were an option, that is what would be chosen. I am so distressed and disappointed by the experience I have had with this company. Entrusting them with drawers from an antique chest that is in my home, I was given reassurance that there was no deadline on how long they would hold onto them until my family could scrape together the money to get our items fixed. However, this company has the audacity to "toss out" ( directly quoted from an email they sent me) my furniture, saying it would simply be better for me to buy a new chest than to fix the beloved one that is already

With the name "Furniture Medic On Call", I didn't know what to expect-I was even hesitate to call.
What a wonderful surprise!
Quick estimate, came to the house and picked up 3 pieces of furniture-one which was very heavy and had to be brought downstairs.
Refinished in a week and delivered back to me.

Very hard to find a business to do the work I was requesting. A dog chewed up the corners of our coffee table. They said they could come to the house, but it was cheaper for me to bring it in myself. Good customer service and a very fair price. The work they did was awesome. Couldn't even tell that there was any damage.

I have a Herman Miller wood grained modular desk that has gotten scratched over the years. Replacing the modular desktop sections would have cost a small fortune. Fortunately the Herman Miller dealer turned me on to the Furniture Medic, and they came to my office and in one day the desk was as good as new. They matched the color of the original finish perfectly and managed to repair some scratches and gouges that I was afraid were beyond repair. Sally from the Furniture Medics worked around my schedule and did the work on a Friday when I was out of the office. I would certainly use them again!
