Since 2009, WDC Solar has been bringing solar power to low-income homes and businesses in the Washington DC area.
WDC Solar, Inc. was created with the intention of providing access to solar energy to all socioeconomic classes in Washington, D.C. Nine years ago, Mark Davis, President and Founder of WDC Solar, Inc. created a low-income solar program in conjunction with the District of Columbia Department of Energy and Environment.The program now called Solar For All, offers free solar systems to low-income residents who meet certain income requirements.

Mr, Davis saw the potential role of solar power in mitigating the energy costs for low-income populations, the elderly and the disabled. He created WDC Solar, Inc. to ensure that low-income communities have a stakeholder interest in the solar industry.
We've helped hundreds of residents living in urban communities take advantage of local and federal incentives in order to maximize electricity savings and leave a better legacy for the next generation. WDC Solar specializes in the design, engineering, and build-out of larger commercial systems for schools, churches and government buildings.
