ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! They didn't show up for my load only move. My move was confirmed and they were supposed to be there between 8-9. I called shortly after 9 am and woke Luis up. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn't rebook my move, after he agreed to the date change, and there was noone to help me. Luis said he would call me back in 30 minutes, to try to get a plan together... it was 3 HOURS before he called me back and said he could be there in 1 hour. By that time my 60 year old parents and I moved my stuff down 3 FLIGHT OF STAIRS by ourselves. I have attached pictures of

We were moved on November 1st by Austin and Gabe and Quincy. They were professional and were very pleasant, didn’t waste time but packed, wrapped and loaded everything in a timely manner. Unlike some companies they moved my piano without a complaint. When arrived at the new house they did a great job in reverse. It was approximately a 80 mile move so they had a very long day. Their price was great and we were very happy with their work.

Louis came thru for me! I had previously scheduled a different moving firm. 2 days before my move I learned I wasn’t actually on their schedule. After so many calls I found Portland Move & Louis. He asked if he could call me back. He wanted to see if he could move some stuff around to make this work. He called back about 10 minutes later and he saved the day!!!! My move was back on! It was a blessing in disguise.
His team was amazing! Good guys, hard working, took amazing care of all my stuff. Helped me get my garage organized.

They did not wear shoe covers when entering the house. They didn't have carpet runners either. I had to ask them to remove shoes at least while stepping on the carpet. This is my biggest complaint.
They did not have the right tools to dismantle my garage gym or move it into the truck. We discussed the gym stuff before scheduling the move but they did not come prepared.
They are slow. I am not including the extra time it took to dismantle and set up the gym.
Needless to say I will be looking somewhere else next time.

Austin + Quincy were amazing!! They are friendly, professional, and efficient. Together, they make a great team!! They deserve a pay raise and/or any other extra perks 😄. Luis was also great! Very flexible and accommodating, great communicator.

Gabe and Luis were awesome! Our truck arrived at 3pm and we were fully offloaded and all furniture put in place by 6pm. Very professional and friendly guys who made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend these guys if you need to move, you won’t be disappointed!

My initial interaction with Portland Move was pleasant & accommodating.
However, it soon became obvious this is a inexperienced team who under estimates their project, and leaving the homeowners to pick up slack.
When contracted initially, it was 4 bedrooms w/ 2 car & shop
This was a pack/move w/ unload. Several times i was given the option of an unpack (declined)
I was told 3 days, 1 to pack, 1 to load, 1 to deliver
No show on packing day, no problem…we will bring extra guys
Day 2, 2 trucks plenty of guys. As truck 1 fills, days gets longer, i hear we will be outta here by 6

Portland Move did an excellent job moving some antique and delicate items from one location to another. Austin and Louis were both extremely professional and efficient in their moving and packing of the truck. Their fees were competitive and fair. Additionally, after the 2 hour mandatory fee, the guys only charge you for 15 minute increments, which I think is a very considerate pricing plan. Bottom line: I would not hesitate in hiring Austin and Louis again. Very hard-working young men who get the job done!

As a professional Interior Designer, moving furniture is part and parcel of most projects. Portland Move has provided reasonable, efficient and professional services moving existing furniture in a client home. They disassembled, moved and reassembled exercise equipment, large sectional furniture, and some antique pieces within my clients home.

This review is long over due, used them this past summer while relocating from Nevada to Oregon. These guys were amazing! They are very communicative, responded quickly and very flexible. What we thought was gonna be a two hour job was only hour which was perfect after driving 9 hours into to Portland. Will definitely use them again.
