The pandemic has made it increasingly difficult to buy cars especially a Mercedes Benz. I spoke to dealerships all over NJ trying to find a GLE with all the specs I wanted in a reasonable price. Mario Castelli not only made sure I got the car built exactly to my liking, he had it delivered in a timely manner without any crazy market adjustments or inflations. I'm very happy with my purchase but even more so with my experience at contemporary motor cars. Highly recommend !

We had the most wonderful experience at this dealership. We drove from CT to purchase my car and they had everything set up and ready for us so we only had to make one trip. My current vehicle while fun was no longer serving its purpose, so I inquired about a 250 via the website. We needed a smaller model bcz our bemouth of a Subaru takes up a lot of garage space. I was contacted by a salesperson and went back and forth several times before I ended up popping in for a test drive. He was rather dismissive, then it took my husband several tries to get in touch with him to see the car and review financing options. They are making a terrible business move! Been going to this dealership for almost 4years, dealt with the great legendary John Kellner who unfortunately retired. Took my 2014 E63 AMG in for service since it wouldn't pass inspection! They came back with a $6k bill(make up bs) and said engine light WILL come on and how I need to drive the car and just maybe.. I'll pass the inspection. Are you kidding me? What kind of response is that! I was concerned going to a Mercedes dealer. I expected a bunch of snooty sales reps in fitted Italian clothing. I made an Inquiry ab a specific car via email. I got a call from a sales rep named Mario, he was very cool and gave me awesome pricing on a GLB. We went in to test drive the car and met Mario in person. He was cool and easy going. I've been buying my cars from this dealership for over 20+ years and I wouldn't consider doing business with anyone else. Most importantly they diagnose and fix the problem correctly on the first visit and they only use factory parts, they never use aftermarket or rebuilt cheap parts. If you drive a MB don't even think about using any other dealership. Also the level of professionalism is unbeatable. You'll be very pleased with them.

I have purchased 3 Mercedes from Contemporary Motors and have had my cars serviced there for years! I have never had a problem until yesterday when I was taken advantage of by the service department and overcharged for a simple service I paid over $525.00 for a simple oil and fluid change which took approximately 1 1/2 hours! I will take my business to another dealer from now on and will also purchase my future cars from another dealership! Such a shame!

The following is a short summary of how Contemporary Motor Cars Inc, a Mercedes Benz Dealership in Little Silver NJ went to great lengths to attempt to have me pay over $12,000 for a new transmission.
This is after requesting a simple program that was originally quoted as being $330 for a few hours labor in early April of this year 2019.
My vehicle is an ML63 and was in perfect condition before leaving it with the dealership to have the transmission control module re programmed.
Thousands of dollars out of pocket and months later they gave me back an ML63 that was no longer drivable.

In my 59 years of life, I have purchased at least 20 vehicles from about 10 different dealerships.
Contemporary Motor Cars of NJ is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had.
The car, a two year old Mercedes E 400 Cabriolet, was meticulously prepared, detailed, and delivered with four new tires, four new rotors, and 4 new brake pads. The car only had 16,000 miles on it and looked showroom, and without a blemish.
Not only that but they actually delivered the car to me on a flatbed with in a couple of days, ( AT NO CHARGE! ) and I live 107 miles away on Long Island.

I can't say enough good things about CMC! Sales is always responsive and polite. Dan Holden in the service department really goes above and beyond. He is excellent with communication and always available to answer questions. Every service appointment was seamless and efficient. I had no idea just how high CMC had set the bar until I moved and visited a new dealership for service. CMC is a true local gem.

I just received my car back from Contemporary's service department and will find it hard to return to any other dealer for service. The service department staff is friendly and informative. I dropped my car off on a Saturday and they provided a loaner. I have always had issues working in NYC and trying to get my car serviced during the workweek since a lot of dealers do not give out loaners on a Saturday. My service adviser was Dan Holden and he was great. He kept me updated and did a little research on my car for me since it was purchased from another dealer. Thanks guys!

I have never been a "car guy" and one to get caught up in the swell around any brand, especially in the higher end of the spectrum but I recently decided to buy a CPO Mercedes and did so through Contemporary Motors.
While Mercedes Benz is a top tier brand I must admit Contemporary Motors is a world class dealership (I typically loathe car dealerships!).
From sales to finance to service these guys get it right and are consistent, truly embodying the term "Customer Service"

I've gotten Mercedes in several dealerships but coming here, I've never felt so valued and welcomed as a costumer. They truly understand the concept of making someone feel like family. As soon as I came into the dealership to sign final paperwork I was given a gorgeous bouquet of flowers! ( How sweet is that!)
