Rod Roofing LLC office is located on the access road of IH-10 Eastbound at the Colorado St. exit. My 30 year old house had some leaks the owner answered the phone we discussed the situation and set up an appointment for a estimate. Rod Roofing came very highly recommended by several home owners in my neighborhood who have used this company for over 40 years. All deliveries and work were done on time. Cleanup was meticulous. I got 3 estimates from 3 separate roofing companies. All 3 companies were pretty much within the same range. Other 2 companies offered 5 year warranties Rod Roofing was 8 year warranty. Gilbert was very informative, he responded quickly to all my text & phone calls. I had lots of questions this being my 1st time dealing with the insurance company & roofing companies. The roof came out fantastic & they left the job sight CLEAN. Would recommend Rod Roofing to everyone. Thank you for making this BIG decision of a home repair a great experience.

Rod Roofing was excellent! Gilbert Jr. was easy to work with and kept us up-to-date on the progress of our re-roofing. The men who did the work were courteous and hard-working. A+ on cleanup every day. When we were getting estimates from several roofers, Gilbert Jr won the bid for three reasons: 1. He was super-friendly and honest about several issues. 2. He had someone come repair a leak the same day before we said we would use them. and 3. He was able to find the solarhide I wanted to use that they didn't have on-hand. Great work and people!

I do recommend Rod Roofing. They recently replaced the shingle roof on a rental property I own here in San Antonio. They were 100% complete in a little over two days, with no problems. They installed everything exactly as I had requested, such as colors I picked, attic vents etc.
The Rod Roofing representative that initially met me on the job was an actual knowledgeable estimator - not a salesman like many roofing companies will send out. Rod Roofing is fully insured and provided “Proof of Insurance” before they started the job, which is really important.

It's been 9 years since Rod Roofing installed a black standing seam metal roof and 5 inch box gutters on our 1991 Inwood home.
I was told by the other roofing companies my skylights were made for composite shingles and I would need to replace them even though they were brand new at the time. Rod roofing replaced the composite roof with a standing seam metal roof they put new flashing the existing skylights. No replacement needed, And their bid was one of the most reasonable. My family purchased a home that came with a 10 year warranty on the roof. After the rains, we noticed a leak. Rod Roofing came out in a timely manner to investigate. It was a team of 3 including the owner, Gilbert. He informed us they had already been back to the property to fix leaks with hail damage (before we owned it.) After they investigated, we learned the leak was not with their roofing job, but something else needed to be replaced. (My Dad is an architect and said they were spot on with the analysis.) They fixed the issue in 2 hours, sent a bill, attached before and after pictures
