Very unhappy with their work. I had to repaint a door and a wall after the painters were done as they got paint on other doors and a wall while cleaning up apparently. The skin coat job is terrible and when I pointed it out they said their was nothing they could do to fix it.

Years ago, I contacted Greg at Kaya to do a remodel. I paid $4,000 for an architect's plans, then paid $1,000 to Greg as a good faith down payment. Unfortunately, the recession hit right after that, and our home equity line of credit was frozen. Granted, it was several years before I contacted Greg again about the work, but he did not want to honor the $1,000 down payment. I was surprised, because no where in the contract did it say that I would forfeit the money after a certain period of time. Well, I tried again recently. I asked Greg to come out to the house to give me a bid on the

Terrible costumer service! I made an appointment with this company, only to receive a call a few hours before they were due announcing that they were cancelling my appointment. I explained I had taken the day off work to get this appointment and the only other time I had available was on the weekend, and they don't provide any services on the weekends. The woman on the phone told me they were too busy with other jobs. Then she had the audacity to recommend I find someone on Craigslist to come do the work! Not only does that make it clear that they don't care about having my business

I debated about whether it was appropriate to give a star, but this company did answer my email inquiry, so it seemed fair. Unfortunately, during the call, the representative told me it would likely not be possible to finish my basement for any less than $50,000.00 but set up an appointment to do an estimate anyway. Of course, he didn't show up today. After reading the other reviews, I feel thankful for this small mercy.

I would definitely not work with this company again, nor would I recommend this company to anybody who wants either respectful, conscientious, or quality work done in a timely manner. We had work done by Kaya a few years ago and the experience was exactly as described by the other negative reviewers. They may put up a good front for their first impression in order to get your business but after that, good luck getting them to respond to inquiries regarding details of the work or when work will get done, etc. Greg was entirely absent during the construction and we were left having to deal with one

I am a Plumbing contractor have been working with Kaya General Contractors on and off since 2002. The owner Greg Martin is sincerely concerned about his job, his employee's performance and most importantly about customers needs. I have not seen over the years any of them cutting corners or doing bad job and this is what matter. "THE WORST GENERAL CONTRACTOR" would be the one which take you money, start something and then disappear. I would recommend this company as thousands others who unfortunately do not have time to write theirs positive reviews as only Judy F. did (I was

By far THE WORST GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICE BY FAR. The owner has no business being in contracting. He only once visited our construction site and didn't even do a walk through, even after our numerous complaints pertaining to the employees, Mike especially, and the disorganization of the project. A project that was maximum a two week job, turned into a grueling 45 days of Mike the employee showing up late EVERY morning, taking 2 hour lunch breaks and leaving the site before 4PM, EVERYDAY!! To top of all this, Mike left his subs to do all his work, his clean up and his mistakes. The continuous
