We contracted with Almega to tear off and rebuild the back half of our 1913 farm house 6 years ago. Jeff did a great job managing the costs within the fixed-cost bid and matching the look of feel of the old portion house. I was thrilled with the work that was done. He has stood behind his work and things still work well and look nice 6 years later.
I hire Almega again about a year ago to finish the unfinished basement in that house. Jeff took all costs into consideration and gave me a good bid. Jeff worked hard to stay on schedule, which was very challenging during the pandemic. He kept me informed

Very great business. I have been in the business working with contractors for many years now and trying to get things done properly. I have definitely found the one I will use from now on and I have seen the right and wrong way of doing things. They are hard working, work late nights early mornings. We hired this company to finish our basement. It was a very frustrating experience. Here are some of the frustrations we dealt with.
We hired this company to install a new AC unit and furnace while we waited for them to begin the basement. It was brought to our attention after the installation that we could receive a rebate from our electric company for the new units. We asked for a receipt for the units so that we could present it to the electric company. We were informed by the contractor that they had already redeemed the rebate and gave us credit for it when they invoiced us. We checked the

Almega completely replaced my baseboard boiler in my home. Their techs were clean, professional, and did a great job. They came out right away and in no time the boiler was up and running and my home was warm again. I can not thank Almega enough for the great job they have done. I will definitely be using them again for my other HVAC and remodeling needs.

Lots of shortcuts were taken during our project that was a big expensive project. Ended up being somewhere around $95k. For that price I would have expected better quality (they dumped their grout buckets in our window wells!!!). I have since hired an amazing contractor to come in and fix things. I will attach pictures of how original work was left and pictures of The new contractors work.
The drywall is wavy, cracked our marble and didn’t tell us about it (Paragon granite came out and made it right), pipes left exposed, terrible job on wall texture, tiles not cut...instead just packed with

Almega was amazing to work with. We had a last minute need to have our furnace and ac serviced since we were selling our house, they were able to come help us within only a few days, and were very reasonably priced, some places I called wanted $150 each or more for the furnace and a/c service, they charged less than that for both units. They arrived on time, were helpful and knowledgeable, and got us the info we needed quickly.

We contracted with Almega in January of 2018 to perform a renovation of our main level. This included new tile flooring, relocation of gas and water for our kitchen and bathroom, installation of recessed lighting, and relocation of our laundry. Additionally, we contracted to have cabinets built and installed along with installation of a new quartz counter top. Almega offered competitive pricing for this work and actually came in lower than other contractors that we had interviewed.
