In the fall of 1987, John Lugar and a friend moved a family to Florida during a college break for the adventure and $300. This trip led to the founding of Virginia Varsity Transfer based on becoming the "good guys" of the moving industry; clean-cut, professional and honest. Upon Lugar's graduation in 1991, the company became a full-time operation.

Everyone is very friendly from the people answering the phone to the men picking up and delivering your things. We had a mix-up on trucks and didn't have enough for our big move from NJ to Virginia. They fixed the problem by getting another local moving truck on we were on the road the same day. I would definitely recommend Virginia Varsity Transfer.

Just completed a move with Virginia varsity transfer. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. They packed up our kitchen for us and did a fantastic job ensuring everything was neatly and securely packed into the boxes. Were very expedient in terms of loading and unloading the truck. Highly recommend them for moves.

Jeremy and Jeremiah of Virginia Varsity loaded my 21 foot rental truck on June 21, 2021. They were polite, professional, friendly and fast. The truck was expertly loaded and my furniture was wrapped and protected with blankets and carefully strapped into the rental truck. I have used Virginia Varsity prior to this move and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Thanks!.

My movers just left and I felt compelled to write a review on how great this experience was from start to finish. The estimate was done via video conference and I got a quote very quickly. It was so convenient being as we are in the midst of a pandemic to do it virtually. The quote was very reasonable. I wanted to wait to write a review until the move actually happened and the movers were right on time, courteous, and super accommodating. I went with this company because the reviews were awesome and that is exactly what I experienced. They packed everything carefully and were in and out in no time
