Brown Squirrel Furniture Warehouse began in 1971. The business is owned by the Matthews family, who having lived in Knoxville for generations, are blessed to call it home. Doug Matthews, Sr. is a long-time veteran of the home furnishings industry, since 1959. Brown Squirrel "gives back" to the community through involvement with a number of charitable organizations such as Second Harvest, the Habitat for Humanity, and the Red Cross, among others. If you have any question about your new furniture, delivery, or other issues, call us first at 693-1291. You can also email us, and we will respond quickly to your request. Delivery: Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you cannot have someone at your home to receive your merchandise. We will reschedule your delivery for a better day.
Shopping for your new furniture can be a fun, exciting experience. Here are a few thoughts from the American Furniture Manufacturers' Association that can make shopping even more enjoyable. Determine your budget. No matter how much or how little you want to spend, you can find good values that suit your style in any price category.
We will issue a refund, less a restocking fee of 5% of the total order, if we are notified of your desire to cancel within 48 hours of the time you take possession of the merchandise. This excludes bedding and sleep products, which may not be returned. There will be an additional delivery charge assessed if our trucks pick up the merchandise from your home.

Amazing experience with Brown Squirrel Furniture! We had a set budget and Randy was so kind and very considerate of our budget. He was not pushy at all like many assume salesmen to be. The showroom is enormous and there are pieces for every budget, style, and size! Had the most wonderful experience buying our new kitchen table and will most definitely be purchasing furniture from them again in the future! I have included a picture of the table at the showroom and then our table in our kitchen.

I’m extremely pleased with my shopping experience at Brown Squirrel Furniture. Even though the global supply chain is horribly effected by current events, the showroom at Brown Squirrel Furniture does not reflect this. Truly, wall to wall furnishings. Our sales representative (Lance) greeted us upon arrival, yet never “hovered”. He was easy to located and ready to answer our questions. I ended up purchasing a king size bed and two matching night stands.

Worst customer service , my wife and I bought a couch with the 5 year protection plan , couch broke 6 months ago and have been trying to get it fixed ever since but getting nothing but the run around . my wife has called and emailed both brown squirl and the protection company (which is a joke) and not getting anywhere . the protection company did… finally send a part out but when they came to install the part it was broken (go figure), as time goes buy and my wife tries to call both companies all she gets is a run around. all we want is for them to honor the contract.. how hard would it
