I was very pleased with the work that the Matera Roofing crew did in putting a new roof on my house. I obtained a number of estimates, and many companies were unwilling or uninterested in putting on the distinct roof I wanted -- a pressed aluminum shingle roof I had selected from Isaiah Industries located in Ohio. Matera was one of only two companies that was willing to put on this aluminum "Rustic" shingle from Isaiah, and Matera offered what I needed -- a highly skilled crew of roofers and a reasonable price. Matera roofing "replaced" our roof with previous homeowners in 2017. Three days after we closed on our home in July 2018 our roof started leaking & hasn't stopped since. The owner, Anival, would say he would come out and would finally arrive several days later & the issue still isn't repaired... June 2020.

A great experience at a difficult time of the year, weather wise, in the Bay Area. From initial contact with the office, through getting a competitive estimate, permitting, scheduling and prompt installation, Matera Roofing performed with top flight professionalism. Even with September's late afternoon showers to contend with Matera's crew keep our roof 'buttoned up' never leaving our home exposed to the rain and wind. We are owner/builders, have high expectations of our sub-contractors. When we met Anival we were impressed through the process of designing a roof on our new home. We have an angled garage off the house, and a 7/12 pitch to our roof with various size/type gables. First, he gave us an education about product and installation. Then a very competitive price for our large roof. He made a date, came as promised, and the same crew worked until the job was completed. We are VERY pleased! So many compliments on our roof from people that drive by or come to visit.

After much back and fourth I got a roof installed by Anival and his crew. There was poor communication from the first day. The trim was put on improperly because Anival himself was never on site and the folks former FELONS he hired to do the install were not guided properly. There were cost overages, additional time, and material, not originally quoted. A wooden retaining wall on the roof was built over 3' high using nails NOT SCREWS of pressure treated wood and painted without my consent. The TPO attached to this wall has already began to fail. Best roofing company and best prices in Tampa Bay! I actually had my roof on my house replaced 4 months ago but wanted to want to review to be sure there weren't going to be any leaks and there hasn't been any through the entire hurricane season! Quick free estimates, they pulled all permits from the county as they do legitimate work. Customer service from the owner was great. The awesome 4 man crew knocked out my entire 1500 sq ft house in one day! The clean up was perfect no nails anywhere and my house looks amazing! I'm a real estate investor who just moved to the Tampa area. It was a nightmare trying to find a roofing coma only to give me a good price that fit my budget and was also a professional. I gave Anival a call and he gave me the best price (out of about 10 roofers) and just made my life so easy from that point on. Soon after I got the price but before they did the roof, a tree fell on my house and crushed my soffit! Anival came out the next day to look at the damage and he fixed my soffit too. Matera roofing even warranties his roofs which is unheard of especially in Flordia with the high winds

I've done work with these guys I the past. They do excellent work. I had them do my own house in Carrollwood and as always another professional job complete. I own a plumbing company in Tampa and I've sent numerous referrals to them always knowing my customers would be taken good care of. These guys a awesome. Nevo (Anival) is the nicest guy you could possibly meet. I've really never heard anything bad from him. He's always got such a wonderful positive attitude all the time. Started out as a really good relationship. I in fact helped them with a situation. Part of the contract stated that the landscaping would be returned to the condition it was in prior to the installation. However, they left behind a large pile of debris that included two small branches of a tree that I had told them that if it was easier for them, they had my permission to trim them. There is also a smaller pile that included insulation from my attic that came out during the repairs to my roof. They agreed a few times to come and clean it up, scheduled people and notified me and then nothing was
