I did my research on. Decide to go with solar this year and I got a couple quotes from different solar companies in Las Vegas. I met with Jonathon Moebius (Sales Rep) for Universal Solar Direct, he was on time and very polite when I welcomed him into my home.

I found Universal Solar to be a great company to work with. They worked quickly. They made things easy. They had great financing options. And they made sure everything worked 100% correctly. And they have followed-up to make sure everything is still going well. I would highly recommend them.

Every project doesn't necessarily go as planned but when it doesn't you want professionals on your side. I opted to go for the newest technology for my solar and so we ran into a couple of problems with approvals that we weren't expecting. The team at Universal stayed on top of it though and now my system is up and running. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am very pleased with Universal Solar Direct. I found them at a golden knights game. I seen their logo on the rink and decided to give them a chance (Gila monster! Lol) . My rep was a gentleman named Jonathon M.

As in my first review on 28 June I will follow up since this is July 8 and you returned a review on yelp. While I was at work today and I read this when I came home I reread my review, and not in one sentence in the entire thing and I say anything about your charity or your support for our sports teams or how you feel you are in our community. I am a customer and your customer support is terrible in my case. I left many of voicemails none of which have you responded to. It took you one week and three days to respond to a review on yelp. Maybe if you were applied that interest in your customer support

I am frustrated with this company. I had my solar project installed 4 days after I signed the contract and was charged aprox. 90% of the cost ($18,000) A month and 1/2 later I am still without the use of it. I have called at least a dozen times and no one can give me answer of when it will be turned on. The first 2 or 3 people I talked to said they were new and were just learning . Donnie (the manager) finally(a week ago) told me their engineer had to write a letter to NV energy about the project. Why did it take so long? Today I called NV Energy and they do not have a record of this project and

This is my experience and opinion of Universal Solar Direct, which has been one of the worst experiences with a company in my life!
I am something around $73,000 in the hole, no generation for over a year while paying loan payments and contract violations from Universal Solar Direct as well as them now shutting off my solar monitoring after paying them tens and tens of thousands of dollars!
When we first let them into our home to give us a quote everything seemed great. They quoted us that it would be $1500 to upgrade our power panel from 200amps to 400amps so we could charge two EV vehicles.

I cannot comment on the quality of the company or its work. What I can comment on is, if you decide to receive an estimate from this company and your sales person is Brian M, you are going to receive a very aggressive sales pitch. After listening to his presentation, he expected we would sign on the dotted line. We explained that we had several estimates and would take a day or two to evaluate them before making a final decision. At that point, Brian became quite aggressive, borderline bullying, actually. Just like any other homeowner, I was very hesitant to install solar due to existing legislative policies in place on solar. Jon came out and explained to me with great detail the benefits and cons of installing solar. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I asked him for the straight facts without the fluff and he presented me with a great cost analysis. Their staff was also able to install my system months ahead of time and project altogether turned out great. I highly recommend this company to anyone contemplating about getting solar or not.

Recommended! I wanted to choose a smaller company that had more of a "family business" feel, and I knew going-in that Universal was going to be a bit more expensive than many of the big name “bargain basement” installers, but I expected Universal would do things correctly, and have a deeper relationship with their customers to be sure everything was settled and transparent, with a high level of service. In summary, I buy major purchases based on quality, value, and integrity - even if it costs a bit more – do you really want to leave your solar project that should last 25+ years

Universal Solar did a wonderful job of installing a ground-mounted solar array at my home in Pahrump. Immediately upon turning the system on, it was apparent that it was generating an enormous amount of electrical noise. I am an active ham radio operator and the noise level was so high, it effectively made it impossible for me to receive any signals.

I have had my solar system on my house for two years-so far no problems. The roof does not leak and no electrical problems.
I found the Sale person to be informative of their product and willing to Negotiate cost. The 4 technicians that installed my system were very courteous and had the solar installed in 2 hours.
I am an Electrical Engineering in the construction business. I inspected The installation on the roof and at the meter. I found no issues- it was perfect. Two years later it is in the same good condition.

We got solar from these guys about a year and a half ago. In June our inverter went out. When we called their 24hr help line they tried to trouble shoot the issue but it was not fixable. We got a call the next morning and they set us up to get a new inverter at no cost to us. We also reviewed our previous yr of electricity production and we found the system did not produce what it was set up to make so they made it right by adding panels to my system to increase our production. Again at not additional cost to me. This process took longer they originally estimated but they made it right by reimbursing

Where to start.. well they came ringing my doorbell at about 6:45am and repeatedly rang it till I opened the door. Not cool. I heard it the first time you rang it, give me a second to get out of bed and walk to my door. After they finished and left my property, I went and double checked and realized the wrong inverter was installed. I paid extra money for the EV car charging inverter and they didn't give it to me. I also noticed a mess on my garage floor of dust, hardware and garbage. That's not ok. As I walked around my house to see the solar panels, I saw garbage, tools, and hardware

I contacted 4 companies and finally decided to go with them because a friend referred me; who told everything I wanted hear as far as turn around time being under 1 month from start to finish, inspection was quick which had me assuming they had their process together. We have no idea how they have the nerve to say they are number 1 or how the "rating system" in Las Vegas works, but don't waste your time talking to these people. Their "salesman", Dan, talked loud and fast, never went on the roof to see the solar panels we have but disparaged another company who did (not cool), had a huge book about the company to make you feel good, but gave us nothing in writing about the proposal, the panels they would put in, the number of them and why that number would zero out the bill. Jared went the extra Mile to make sure I got the right system at the right price and got all the right Rebates I was entitled to for my new system with NV Energy. They even filed all the paperwork for me so I just had to wait for a check from NV Energy.
On top of that they even helped with maximizing my energy output and all the technical questions I had before, during and even AFTER my installation, big TY to Eugene, who not only helped me, but also assisted a few of my friends, who also ended up buying Solar from them as well!!! The guy that came to our house was indeed pushy and it turned us off so we spoke to the owner instead. The owner is a solid guy and he was trustworthy. He was great at explaining everything and we had a lot of questions. We signed the Agreement. We are very happy we did.
We are happy with the solar panels. We've noticed a benefit in the fact that they block the sun from hitting the roof. This actually helps to cool the house down somewhat- this was an added benefit. They also installed the fan in the attic for us which has helped a lot.

I first gave Universal Solar Direct a four star until they were completely finished with all the painting, just minor however I like to make sure things are completed before I give a completed rating.
They finished everything on time as scheduled and just as they said they would!!

I must say, I have never seen any other company like Universal Solar Direct, that has the best customer service in this city. Lately we had to deal with lots of contractors, since we bought a house. A majority of those contractors drove us nuts.
But not Universal Solar Direct, they stayed in constant contact with us and we received always updates about our status.
Since we're the 1st customers in NV receiving a LG Batterie, I'm sure impressed about this company. I can highly recommend Universal Solar Direct, I promise, you will not be disappointed !
